Kay JewelersReviews of kay.com

Bought a necklace for my daughter and bought the extended lifetime warranty. Have already had to take this necklace back once. Just took it back For the 2nd time to find out that “corporate” is not allowing them to do any repairs or any inspections till the end of July due to the Covid. So basically you can come in and spend money with them but if their poor craftsmanship breaks your screwed. Will never do business with this company again

Ordered my Ring April 17th they immediately charged my card, the “estimated date of arrival” was may 17th it is now June 11th and I have yet to receive my ring I tried calling however no one would pick up the phone I left them numerous emails to which they never respond they advertise merchandise on their Facebook page as if they are still open but by reading others comments it looks as tho they are not shipping others their merchandise that they ordered they would response to the negative reviews with a generic response, to message them via fbook messenger, however I have done that as well and yet another generic response giving a bs excuse I wouldn’t I will be taking my business elsewhere it’s terrible when a business takes you’re money and refuses to ship the product

My husband placed an order for a necklace for me for Mother's Day - placed by the necessary order by date for on time shipping for Mother's Day. The order is still in PENDING status with an update that it will not ship for another 2 months. Funny his card was charged the day of the order - and he cannot cancel without going through a lengthy process which MIGHT RESULT IN DENIAL? ... this is not a custom order... DO NOT order from Kay. This is beyond upsetting. The poor guy tried doing something so sweet for my first Mother's Day, and he is just so disappointed. He feels bad. He shouldn't have to feel bad. Kay should have refunded him the second it wasn't delivered on time so he could go pick something else out. This is just criminal and really taking advantage of the current situation - this is NOT pandemic related it is crap customer service related. Treat your customers better. Please approve his cancellation request and let's move on. I will report this to the BBB.

I am extremely disappointed with the purchase I made for my fiance. It is a bracelet where you could add a small personalized saying. I choose "we love you dad'' Looked at how "it would look" it looked great. Just what I was looking for! Well it comes today. The print is so FREAKING small. You can barely even see it. An my card was charged twice by Kay's.

Upgraded my wedding set at our 30th anniversary. Placed on my credit account on promotional deal. Made payments each month on the due date and never a late payment. However, I came down with virus covid19 and didn't get my last payment in by March 4 required date instead it posted 3/12 as usual. So, they nicely tacked on over 300.00 in interest charges. I called today and was told by by customer service representative they won't reverse. So, I asked for a supervisor and she was rude. Didn't care about being sick and said well if its a hardship i can connect you with that department. Only hardship was i was sick and I mean sick. Look at my payment all on time never missed anything and 8 days earned 300.00...what a joke this company and their financing are. I will NEVER do business with them again. Told her to close my account to which, she replied that's fine I'll do that. What a joke...if you think about purchasing from here at Kays don't...go to another store where you'll be treated much better and I'm sure be treated with sympathy instead of screw you. Goodbye Kay's never again will you get another dime from me. Unhappy customer with 30 years of purchases. Guess hello Helzburg or other stores. Oh and my account was closed within a couple min of hanging up. Just shows that they aren't interested in customers just the money they can screw you on. Thanks Kay's for nothing!!!!!!

Closed my account for a reason they could not tell me why? I never missed a payment and I will never recommend or go to them ever again .

Spent lots of money at Kay's paid of the bill on my c.c and they closed it never again the bank sucks and very rude

I am going to have to give community credit for Kay jewelers a one star I would give them less if I could. They are a very unprofessional creditor. I have numerous credit cards in my wallet from target to Walmart and every one of them have sent me a letter letting me know that my card has been in active too long and that I need to use it or they will close the account.Due to the fact that I only use my credit cards for larger purchases. Well Community Credit for Kay jewelers doesn't do that they just think that it is OK to close your card without informing you whatsoever. How unprofessional of a company or a bank to let a cardholder go in and try to purchase a product and be denied when you are in good standing. I mean how embarrassing to the cardholder to be denied in front of your family and other people in the store. Especially if it's due to inactivity and not late payments or something negative. I believe they have lost a great customer that would have purchased many things in the future but since they are unwilling to reopen my account without running my credit again they have lost me as a customer. My family is in the process of refinancing our home and a hard pull on my credit for Kay Jewelers would be damaging to our refinancing.I will no longer buy anything from Kay jewelers I will not recommend Kay jewelers to anybody and in fact I will tell people to stay away from getting any type of credit through that company.
