Loyal customer over the years many purchases most of which had problems but always bought an insurance, which was affordable in comparison to the purchase price. Bought a pair of earrings as a Christmas gift. After one months the pearl fell off. Went back to the store was quoted $93 to fix it. Paid $150 for two gold earrings. To put back one little pearl on one of them $93. Apparently I was supposed buy $100 insurance when bought the earrings. Never again!!! Do not buy your gold and jewelry at chain stores!!!!

Bought a bracelet online. Expected delivery February 8th. Ordered February 3rd. Called multiple times there online orders and store orders are not in sync and have no way of knowing if items are coming in. Asked them to cancel the order because it's now late, nope I have drive down to the store sign for it and "return" it. I like the products and have purchased before. After this experience if Kay's ever goes out of business...I think I know why. Will not be buying from here ever again. Also when I called customer care the first question was if this was for Jared's or Kay's. Won't be going to either.

Do not order anything from Kay’s online store expected my order in 2-3 days but what they don’t tell you is that doesn’t include processing time so I won’t get my order for 20 days! Went to their website to check my order and they have the audacity to put on their website if you order something hung today you’ll get it by Valentines Day take my advice DON’T go with another company. Yet I ordered a different product from another jeweler got it in 2 days. Kay needs to get off their ass and revamp their ordering system.

If I could give a negative 1 star that would still be too much. Cheap jewelry, poor exchange policies overall crap. Bought a almost 300.00 dollar chain and it broke in a little over a month. Was told I have to exchange it in the store nothing they could do. I don't have time to shop in doors that's why it was purchased online. Will be canceling our account immediately.

I went to Tysons Corner, VA location. The reason of all the problems was Reza Hessamfar, an assistant manager! I left 2 items for repair and did it through my husband's account. Assistant Manager took the order and verified the phone number. Weeks passed and I haven't gotten any calls from them, decided to follow up. Once called the person spoke in a very unprofessional and unfriendly matter. He stated that they will call and there is the date on the receipt which states the date by when it should be ready. He made me feel stupid for calling, nevertheless I apologized and didn't see the date. Another week passed and it passed the due date on the receipt and no call. I call again, I believe the same gentleman picked up and asked for my phone number so he can call back because he is busy. Wow! Okay! Lady calls back and gives a very silly excuse as to why they didn't call me. Apparently they had a wrong number. I expressed how unhappy I am. Went to this location, wanted to go in and out and have as little interaction as possible. Lady was helping me and asked if they called me to pick up my order. After I expressed an ordeal she apologized and I told her it's not her fault. Walked out of the store and she called us back stating that we owe money. After telling her that we already paid, she said you would need to the person who took our order. Really?! The receipt with the amount belong to someone else but was placed with our order. Back in the store, she calls him and she is asking him in front of us. He said to her that it was a mistake! Literally shutting her up. I tell him that this transaction had too many mistakes. He then turns to me and asks me "why are you being aggressive?!" I asked him if he talks to all customers like that. I advised him to take customer service classes. This guy is an ASSISTANT MANAGER, who should deescalate situations an not cause them! My husband and I are loyal Kay customers. After this experience I am DONE doing business with this retailer! I am recommending to find a different retailer for jewelry purchases and stay away from KAY!!!

Bought a ring for my wife with diamond clusters. The sale person told me it would be a good idea to buy the life time warranty in case if any of the diamonds fell out they would replace them had to take it back when a small diamond fell they replace it 6 months later another fell out they wouldn't replace it because they say you have to bring in your ring every three months for them to fix it. I will never buy anything from kays again.

I bought 3 rings Dec 26 th, 2020, I returned then Dec 27th, today is January 25th 2021, I still have not received my refund of alomst $450.00. I have spoke to 6 different people and was given a wrong email address, Zelma Slayton was the last that told me I was given then wrong email address, she told me 5-7 days and it should be refunded back to my debit card, still almost 30 days later, no refund. Forever on hold and told it'll be a either 3-5, 5-7, or 7-10 days. Never again will I waste my time or money with this company

My boyfriend got me a ring from here (beautiful ring) and we needed to get it sized smaller. So the lady helped me find a good size for my finger and they shipped it to get sized at their facility. We went to pick it up and the ring is still too big and they won’t even refund us for the resizing which was $60. I’m pretty upset about this considering he already spent a lot on the ring and now the ring doesn’t even fit and I just think this is ridiculous and frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend Kay Jewelers to resize any rings. Or at least wait to pay them until you get your ring to make sure you don’t waste your time and money.
