What a nightmare experience we’ve had with Kay jewelry. The store in Columbiana Center, Columbia, SC, the sales person was absolutely rude we asked to see a manager and she said oh I am the manager. Stop do not buy anything from them we’re still waiting a month later to get our refund that we paid for in cash.

My fiancé gave me a beautiful engagement ring from Kay's. He put the ring on my finger 10/20/21 6pm the next morning a diamond was missing from the crown of my ring.The ring didnt stay on my finger barely 12 hours without poor craftsmanship and poor quality showing on the ring making a happy occasion blemished. Now they are saying it will take possibly 6-8 weeks for the insurance to replace the stone.SHAME ON YOU KAYS !! You are asking way to much money for your jewelry to have such low quality and poor craftman ship. I will not be shopping for anymore jewelry from them. This is not the first let down I've had from this company.Lesson learned this time.Do yourself a favor people ,find yourself a better quality jewelry store.

make a long story short sales person tried to sale me the ring i did not try on which she said the ring was over two thousand on sale for 899. plus 299 insurance. when got to register and everything was rang up i said i wanted to wear the ring which was totally different. she tried to sale me another ring because she did not see the first ring. i told her i wanted the ring i tried on and like very much which had diamonds on top and on both side was diamonds with no splits. She was doing too much kept moving around moving rings going up front but i knew what the ring looked like i tried on. The manger had nothing to say at all just looking. this was at the outlet store national harbor Oxon hill Md. she had the nerve to tell me she was a Christian and did not switch rings. ok i told her what happen to the ring i tried on? i heard her tell one of the clerk when she was ringing up my order that she read the price wrong. I did not know what she was talking about. why did she ask me did i like another ring and this one or that one. i felt humiliated and never will i go back except to get my own ring back who i let them keep to send out to fix. i will go back today which is 10/19/2021 to get it back. i do not want nothing. Its is shame. Maybe because i am black.

KAYS JEWELERS CHEAP MATERIALS/ BAD SERVICE! DON'T BUY ANY ENGAGEMENT RING OR WEDDING BANDS FROM THEM CHEAP MATERIALS THAT COME FROM OVER SEAS! I just wanna inform others of the very bad quality and experience I had with them! My fiance originally had purchased a 1 ct diamond engagement ring through Kay jewelers we wanted to do a custom to make it special for me. It started off with the original 1ct diamond to be taken out of the band and put with 2 half CT diamond earings to be put along the side of a new band with .25 CT on side of band as well. Mike located with the kays jewelers of Strongsville in ohio was the store manager at that time, and helped make this custom for us. The custom took 3months after being told it would only take 3 weeks. I got the ring it look great loved it until the cheap materials they bought from India broke 2 of my prongs that on the side holds my half CT diamond fell out and was lost. When I was taking my ring back Strongsville mall Mike the store manager started to say my prongs looked like I had cut my own diamond out, and then proceeded to ask about my 1ct diamond cross necklace that I purchased through zales if he could test it with the diamond tester. I was so upset about how he had treated me I called my fiance and began to cry Once the ring was in after 2 months of them fixing it my fiance came with me and was going to ask why I was treated so badly. Once Mike the store manager seen us coming through the mall he went and sat in the back and wouldn't talk to us about that situation. When we finally gotten the ring it was so badly fixed my prongs where different sizes that held my diamonds in place.The diamond that had fell out didn't even match the size or shape of my previous diamond didn't even sit in the mount. After only 3 weeks of having it the other prong broke on the completely opposite side of the ring. So I took it back to be replaced once again. So now it's been 2months without my ring! My wedding is in two weeks and they still don't even have my band so basically the day where is supposed to be most rememberable is and will be the saddest day due to not having my wedding ring in time for my wedding thanks alot kays jewelers! P.s they won't Even try to compensate me for not having my ring in time for my wedding, plus I've wore this ring 3 months out of 10 months and I've almost paid the account off already. Crystal H

If I could rate this THE WORST company I ever dealt with my whole 22 years of being alive I would. This company fu**** me over so bad & made me go through horrible humiliation. I bought a 10k gold Cuban link that turned out to be gold plated. Description says 10k gold Cuban link. I got it tested at two different jewelers because I wanted to sell it and both told me it wasn’t really 10k. The chain turned green and orange. Price was retail for $1,800 but I ended up paying $2,500 with interest & fees. Then the only option was to sell it back to Kay jewelers and was only offered $593. Not even half of the amount. Customer service won’t issue me a refund or an exchange of product. Plus I have to pay $100 to get it “inspected” despite having life warranty on the item. Worst experience of my life

Horrible site that never lets payments go through. Customer service is a JOKE. Take your chances anywhere else. These people suck

I bought and engagement ring form kay . apparently i bought a Yahuda diamond. not dislcosed. I bought 30 a day return for any reason. We had the band sized I guess it involves heat?. Ot made the fake diamond unstable. yep yahuda is a technique to fill diamond w glass to hide flaws. Went out to dinner. The diamond just cracked and basically looked like rock salt. beyond the embarassment was a complete rip off. luckily I had warranty. took it to kay shop and they said it was "just needed to be cleaned". i said i'm returning it they said no. got a lawyer and they put money in my account that afternoon. Never, never buy from kay jewelers ever .

This place is a scam!!! I didn't even get the piece I ordered!!! So aggravating that these people exist!!! Just stealing money from people. Don't buy from here. I'm going to report them to every government agency that will listen!!!
