I’ve been reading all of the reviews for Kay Jewelers and have to say that I am very terrified about buying from them now. I just purchased 2 items from them online, a Tissot watch and a Le Vian bumble bee 🐝 necklace. I had to contact them because after I ordered I got tracking numbers for both items. However, when I looked at my account online, both orders said they were canceled. They asked if I got cancellation emails and I did not, so the orders were still valid. Very confusing. I was also been approved for $2000.00 in credit, but whenever I try to use it, my sale gets denied. I did not go over my credit limit. Everything they do is extremely contradictory, and confusing which makes me not trust them as a reputable company.

I purchased an engagement ring on the kays.com website on 4-28-22. Order #10000676516257. They sent me a confirmation email that my order was placed. Expected arrival date was 5_3-22. Side note proposing to my girlfriend for her Birthday in 2weeks in Cancun Mexico! On 5-2 the day prior to expected arrival of the ring...I receive an email that my order was canceled!!! I called customer service to see why? The rep told me they over sold this item and there was nothing they could do for me. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she told me that none was available. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with ANY retailer! I caution anyone buying anything on Kay's website " NOT TOO"!!!! False advertising, over promising, under delivering!!!

We ordered a new setting for our 25 year anniversary ring in November. They ordered the wrong one, and we have been dealing with this since December. It has been returned twice. We have spoken to multiple people at the store, on the phone, and online. We finally got the ring last week, and it is still not correct. Now the super thin band is cracked. We refused to make another payment until it was corrected- now we are receiving late fees on an incorrect, broken ring. No one can help us.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. My boyfriend bought me a beautiful necklace for Christmas. The chain came with a tangle in it and already felt cheap for what the price was. I didn’t complain because it was a beautiful gift and I wore it anyways. It’s my birthday today, and the chain has already snapped. I took great care of and there is no reason that in these few short months it has already broken. I contacted support because that’s a simple thing that you would think they could easily replace. But no they force you to drive to your local store in which I am not able to do right now. He said it’s because they need to inspect and investigate??? I am a criminal because their cheap chain broke? Since I can’t drive out there he said do a virtual meeting otherwise oh well! Like what???? Absolutely ridiculous and they will never get my business again. What a ripoff you spend so much money for a necklace with a chain that will not stay together for 4 months.

I purchased a wedding band using a valentines day discount. My order was cancelled because they did not have the size I ordered in inventory. However the order was on a RESIZEABLE ring. When I called to reorder the ring and asked for resizing it was the day after valentines and they would not honor the discount. Terrible customer service! Totally unwilling to work with me. Almost like they scammed me with the whole "discount" thing. 0/10! Do not recommend Kay ever.

I had an engagement ring made at kays. $13,000.00 2 years later I went to a few jewelry stores to see value and was told its worth 800.00 can't find the diamond certification so I'm beat. GO TO A REAL JEWELER BUYING FROM KAYS IS LIKE BUYING FROM WALMART!!!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM KAY JEWLERS!! we bought our ring from the novi store and the customer service we have received from the staff has been horrible. They have not gotten us our certification for our ring and it has been 11 months since the purchase. Every time we call and ask they have no news on where its at and can't find it. We have had multiple stones fall out of the ring and have had to send it in 3 times now for stones falling out. Just this last time a stone fell out so we sent it in and they sent it back with a crack in the main diamond so now we have to send it in again and its going to be 1 to 2 months before we get it back. The lack of care from there employees is so disrespectful they do nothing and I mean nothing to help. We have had so many problems with our ring I will never buy from them again. People please save yourself the hassle and do not buy from kay jewelers. Having to send the ring in 3 times in the first 11 months of having it is ridiculous. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

I took my ring here to get cleaned and it still has nail polish all over it. Then on top of that my ring is white gold so It has begone to fade. I had it replated it took 5 weeks and came back looking the same and they said thats all they can do. I would never buy anything from them ever again.
