I went in on 07-08 and purchased 2 items, one being a diamond anniversary ring that had to be ordered in my size, and was to arrive on 07-19. The you man who was my salesman was very nice and easy to work with. When the charge was placed a warranty was charged without 1st asking me, I told him I didn't want it and to reverse that charge. Nothing more was said but a sales clerk came over to take over. I assumed that was done, When back home I found the charge was not reversed. So then the following day I went back to the store and the same sales girl said she couldn't take the charge off, mind you a round trip to their store from my home is near 40 miles.I find that to be, as I have worked for Zales Jewelers and that wouldnot be an issue. She had an attitude and said I could cancel if it was that big a deal so I told her to cancel the purchase. Then she told me that couldn't be done till the ring was in.I received a emai the store had the ring on 07-19 but with me working I wasn't able to get in until Sat. 07-23.When I arrived another gal was helping me but had to have he to do the return, now I was told the refund could not be process due to the item was not entered till today as being received and now maybe it could be returned on Monday the 25th. I tried to keep my cool but lost it, it was one excuse after another this purchase was for over $2500.00. I mumbled I'd never buy from here again and said I should of thought 2 before shoping there and other people heard me. I left calmly out the door and when I got to my car which was parked 7 spaces away from their store, she hollered at me to not come back and she would call the police if I did. They made me take the ring even thought I refused so now I'll have to go elseware. Now I have made 2 trips to try to get my money back and 80 miles and wasted gas. All she had to do was to let a person know the process, I only have a 30 return policy and it's running out. PLEASE THINK TWICE AND ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BUYING AT THIS STORE Just a follow up when I returned the ring to another one of their stores that manager told me the manager at the Queen Creek Az. store could of done a manual refund and not had me come back 2 different times for nothing.Apparently there has been complaints about that manager from others in the past.

I’d give zero stars if I could. I had done the custom Neil Lane create your own ring and it was on sale at 30% off. Someone at Kay’s had told me the sale price was good until 7/24 so we had time to go to the store and do the purchase. We didn’t want to do it online. This information was wrong and the sale was done before that and we missed it. I had reached out to someone in customer care and they told me there was nothing they could do other than give me a 10% off discount. The ring became 20% off so I called and was told I could use the 10% off to get the 30% off I was guaranteed before. I called the Horseheads NY store and the manager told me this was not doable. I called back to customer care and was told what my notes said from my chat and phone call previously today and the notes did not match what I was told. I had asked multiple times if someone could listen to my phone call previously today since it says calls are recorded and was ignored by that request. I was completely denied what I had been told TWICE that the first the 30% off was good for 2 more weeks or that they would make it right by giving me the 10% to add onto the current 20% off. I get that 10% off doesn’t seem like much but it is when your purchasing something over $10K. I’m super disappointed as I no longer want to give them my business yet Neil Lane is not sold anywhere else and this is the ring I’ve wanted for years.

I was very happy (at first) with my wedding band purchased from here. However, a year later when I went in to get in cleaned, I was told that the plan we purchased would no longer be honored. They just changed it and didn’t offer us any compensation or justification. Now I’m trying to decide if I want to return my band and buy from somewhere else, though now I have an emotional attachment to it. It’s a shame. Brandon, the manager, is very rude and unprofessional. Lisa Tate, the regional manager, is also disorganized and unprofessional. Please buy from someone else.

If possible I would give it a -5 star review. Purchased a personalized necklace engraved. Couldn't see the names with a microscope, not at all impressed Beware online shoppers

Kay is constantly texting me. I have asked them to stop but they keep texting me. I am not interested in their marketing. Now I will never shop there.

I bought a ring from Kay. After the purchase the ring was sent out for sizing. This took almost a month (25 days actually). I finally called today and they said they were just about to call me to say it's finished. Wow! I honestly believe if it wasn't for my call I'd still be waiting for this ring to be sized.

I went ring shopping at the Kay Jewelers in Westfarms mall in CT with my then fiancé on 4/23/22. We found an engagement and wedding ring she liked, I bought it with the life time warranty, and it was sent out for sizing. Two weeks later it came back in and things seemed to be going well. Shortly there after I found out that my “fiancé” was cheating on me and leaving me for the other guy. I became suicidal and was put in the hospital on 5/25/22 and didn’t get released until 6/8. On 6/9 I went to the store to try to return the rings because I didn’t want to see them and wanted to get my money back. I was told that because it was over 30 days that I couldn’t return them. I was told I could still exchange them but anything I did that for would just be a reminder of what happened. I tried calling corporate to try to see if they could show a little compassion for my situation being that I was not in a state of mind to be thinking about return policies at the time but was given a hard no. I was able to get corporate to agree to allow me to make an exchange for the amount I paid for the rings rather than keeping me on the hook for the remaining 4k$ too, but I have to wait for the manager to return to the store and after what I’ve been through with the company I doubt it’ll go smoothly. If it does go ok, I’ll still be left having to sell whatever it is I get to get rid of the bad memories around it and recoup a fraction of my losses. In short, don’t buy from Kay. They don’t care about you.
