Did not work out…
The harness did not work well on my Keeshond… got the size that it showed should work, but did not fit well…

Our relationship with our dogs is important and there’s no better way to strengthen that bond than through something we already do with them daily: Walks. That passion for our very own fur babies and helping other dog parents is what created Joyride Harness and forged our products.Today, we remain a tightknit family-ownedbusiness.🐶USA Owned & Operated

This is the first time I’ve ordered a harness for any of my dogs. I have a 70 pound mutt who is strong and pulls like crazy. The first time we used it he let me put him on and with no problem. It has really helped my back with him pulling less. Customer service was great when I was concerned I might have to exchange it for another size. I’ll suggest is to edit my friends were looking for A harness

Not really your fault, but the XS didn’t work for our 4.5 lb Yorkie. I loved how easy it was to get on him, but one day when we were out walking he wriggled out of it and almost got away from me. Will never use it again.

While we cannot guarantee it's Houdini-proof as some dogs are just too clever for their own good, it should be very hard to escape out of if properly sized and fitted. We recommend only about a finger width or two of space beneath that belly strap for a nice, snug fit! Also ensure it is secured behind the widest area of their ribs rather than the front legs only. To achieve that, you can loosen the front Velcro chest strap as needed, so the harness sits further back on the dog. This should eliminate their ability to slip out. Sometimes one minor adjustment can make a big difference! For a true escape artist, you might consider a "safety strap" or "safety cord" option that attaches to a collar and the leash for added security for wriggly pups. It's just a backup safety precaution that you can pair with our harness for peace of mind.

I bought two large harnesses, one for each of our large dogs. The harnesses seem to be well made, and they are definitely attractive. Sorry to say, though, I am not able to use them. The clasp that attaches to the waist strap is far too strong. It takes considerable hand-strength to open the clasp--strength that I do not have. The only time we tried using the harness, my spouse and I together spent at least five minutes attempting to open the clasp, with our harnessed dog wriggling, jumping and anxious, as we tried to un-trap her. I contacted Joyride Harnesses and told them of this problem. They explained that they are using an extra-strong clasp for their large harnesses so that large and strong dogs cannot pull open the clasp. I understand the rationale. Nevertheless, both of our harnesses are useless for our dogs. By the way, I tried, but was not able to return the harnesses--one of which hasn't even been taken out of the original packaging--as I had misplaced the invoice and purchase number--prerequisites for returns. So I now have two attractive but useless harnesses.

We were unaware you were having trouble. You never made us aware there was trouble with the harness. Your order is from November of 2021. We do have a 60 day return policy. The order is past that time frame. Sometimes the dog needs a bit more time on the harness, but this article provides a few more tips and tricks on using the side rings and how to curb the pulling: https://joyrideharness.com/blogs/news/1-simple-trick-to-stop-your-dog-from-pulling?fbclid=IwAR310mOX3LPAvXxdEuoZD_b6o0nihvrZjGPmGoEg8UZhcyDTGmBL9XmA_Wg
