The buckles are too big for such a small harnass.

He walks slower and doesn't jerk. He seems to really like it. I do!

the front strap that I think goes across my dogs chest does not hold well at all. This is way too expensive for it to not do its job

Hi Heidi, It does sound like the harness is not on correctly. We do have a blog post that breaks down how to put on the harness. You can check it out at the following link: https://joyrideharness.com/blogs/news/how-to-put-on-the-joyride-harness Let us know if you still run into issues with your harness. Thank you!

Love these harnesses! I have pugs and they are the easiest to put on. I use them in the cooler months however for summer they are warm. It would be great if you made a lighter fabric using the same design.

Loved the look and ease of the harness. But I've only been using it for 2 months and my pup has chewed through the chest strap. And the back part already has worn holes in the material. The quality of the harness has not held up at all

Hi Amy, Thank you for your feedback. It does appear your harness is from November. We do not advertise the harness to be chew proof. We do now offer a lifetime warranty. This would cover an over achiever chewer. Since our regular warranty does not cover chew damage.
