The results I have experienced have been nothing short of amazing. After 4 sessions, the blocks that have steered my entire life as long as I can remember are gone. Feeling much more present and my social anxiety is all but gone. If you are done being stuck then this is the program to get you on the correct path.

I enjoyed 1st talking, then we did the session. She was lovely to speak to. The 1st person you speak to is very kind as well. Can’t wait for my next session

Company stated one thing during the initial phone consultation and only offered a pricing package, was never told I could pay as I go. Charged up front for 4 sessions, scheduled 8. Stated I could cancel at any time for a refund of the remaining amount that was charged to the card. After 1 session realized that that the service was not what I anticipated and within 30 minutes, cancelled the remaining sessions and requested a refund. Now stating that since I had a "subscription" package, I cannot get a refund. Very deceptive business practice .

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm sorry to hear the program wasn't the right fit for you. I did want to clarify how our membership is structured. Throughout our website and enrollment process, we explain that we typically recommend an 8- to 12-session program because that's where we consistently see the best outcomes, including our 96% improvement rate. The monthly membership is simply one way clients can pay for that recommended program by spreading the cost over monthly installments instead of paying the full amount upfront or using third-party financing. For that reason, the second month's payment and appointments are part of the membership structure and are outlined in the welcome email you receive after enrolling. We don't present four sessions as a complete program; rather, they're the first portion of the recommended course of care. We certainly never want anyone to feel surprised by how the membership works, and if your experience left you feeling that way, we appreciate that feedback. It's a good reminder that we can always continue improving how we communicate the program structure during enrollment.

Overpriced & I am not satisfied with my treatment. Practitioners should have more experience. I was connected w a novice & do not feel like it was worth the cost. I still have anxiety & I felt pressured to write a good review.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm sorry to hear your experience didn't meet your expectations. I did want to clarify one point. Our hypnotherapists are not new to the field. Before joining Joymind, each practitioner must meet rigorous training and experience requirements, and the hypnotherapist you worked with has been practicing professionally and has been with Joymind for over two years. That said, experience and the right therapeutic fit aren't always the same thing. Sometimes a client simply doesn't feel the connection they need with a particular practitioner, regardless of their qualifications. That's exactly why we have a Client Success team and offer every client a complimentary rematch at any point during their program. With more than 50 hypnotherapists on our team, we're often able to find someone whose style and personality are a better fit. I only wish we had heard this feedback while you were still in your program. We regularly check in with clients because we genuinely want them to succeed, and we're very willing to make adjustments along the way rather than have someone continue with a provider who doesn't feel like the right match.

They are very nice trying to get you to buy sessions. I've tried hypnosis before and this was no different. They try to tailor a scenario that may be helpful to you and basically try to get you to relax. I realized it wasn't for me when I didn't even relax. I can go on you tube and get that for free. They try to get you to do so many sessions as if that's what its going to take. After financing so many sessions at one price and realizing its not working I go to cancel and they change the amount of what the session is because you cancelled so you are still paying more money and that must be in the fine print because they surely dont tell you that. Scam.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm sorry to hear the experience didn't meet your expectations. One thing I'd like to clarify is that not feeling deeply relaxed during your first hypnosis session doesn't necessarily mean hypnosis isn't working or that it isn't for you. In fact, that's a very common first experience. The reason we recommend an 8- to 12-session program is because change typically happens in stages: Month 1: Letting go. This is where clients begin unloading years—sometimes decades—of stress, anxiety, fear, shame, and old patterns. The goal is often to calm the nervous system, improve sleep, and create a sense of stability before moving into deeper change. Month 2: Getting clear. Once those layers begin to lift, clients are better able to identify what they truly want, set healthier boundaries, and gain confidence in their decisions and direction. Month 3: Living it. This is where the changes often become tangible. Clients start making choices that once felt scary but now feel natural, and it's common to hear friends, family, or coworkers comment, "You seem different." This progression is why we recommend 8 to 12 sessions throughout our website and enrollment process. It's based on the outcomes we've seen across thousands of clients, and why we don't recommend judging the effectiveness of hypnotherapy after just one session. Thank you again for sharing your perspective.

My wife tried these folks out twice. The first time it was $1500 for eight sessions. But they only gave her like 20 minutes of hypnosis and 15 minutes of talk. I was certified to do hypnosis in 2002 and you need more than 20 minutes especially when you start a program. My wife wasn't satisfied and asked for a refund which she received in reasonable time. Then a few weeks later she thought she would give it another try. This time it was $1500 for only 5 sessions!!!!! $300 per session $100 increase!!!! She explained why she quit last time being not enough time given to the hypnosis part and she did the second time as well. The second time they said talk with the therapist and tell her about it which my wife said that she did - guess what? The therapist DID THE SAME THING!!!! So my wife called and wrote saying she wants s refund and they agreed to refund $966 It's been 9 business days and nothing was returned! UPDATE: After numerous calls over weeks, the refund was given. I told my wife she should ask for the therapist's certification credentials ad when people are in the internet you have no ides with whom you are dealing. I recommend DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UPDATE: My wife NEVER received one hour of time for any session! The second time around was the worst- I think it was only about 35 minutes total!! And the pricing is just as I had stated A HUGE increase for even less time!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm sorry to hear your wife didn't have the experience she was hoping for. I did want to clarify a few points, as I think there may be some confusion around how our programs are structured. The pricing you referenced isn't inaccurate, nor does it reflect a price increase. Since Joymind was founded, clients have always had the option to purchase individual sessions at our standard session rate or enroll in a multi-session program, which offers discounted pricing. Most clients choose an 8- or 12-session program, which is where those discounted rates apply. Regarding the sessions themselves, the first appointment is always 80 minutes and is intentionally structured differently from those that follow. Part of that time is spent understanding a client's history, goals, and patterns so the hypnosis can be personalized rather than generic. We also know every client has different preferences, which is why our Client Success team checks in after the first session. If someone prefers more hypnosis, less coaching, or feels they aren't connecting with their hypnotherapist, those are all things we regularly adjust—including offering a complimentary rematch whenever needed. One point I do want to address is your statement that your wife received "20 minutes of hypnosis and 15 minutes of talk." If you're saying the entire session lasted only about 35 minutes, I would genuinely want to investigate that immediately. An initial session should be 80 minutes, and a 35-minute session would be highly unusual and not reflective of our standards. If that's truly what occurred, we would absolutely want to review it internally. Thank you again for taking the time to share your perspective.

I just get off the phone with the program representative. He explained everything clearly about the therapy, but once it came to the payment topic he starts speaking faster and asked me if I want to pay full or installments (1744 for 8 sessions). Once I said that I need to discuss it with my husband, he offered to buy one session for $215. I said that it was my policy to think about it after the call. So, he said "Ok, bye" and hang up the phone. This is why it is my policy! Respectful legit therapy service would not treat clients like this. And I was existed to try it actually.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I'm sorry to hear your consultation ended this way—that's certainly not the impression we want to leave. First and foremost, there is absolutely no expectation that someone makes a decision during the consultation. We understand that beginning hypnotherapy is an important investment, and many clients choose to discuss it with a spouse or simply take time to think it over. We fully respect that. Based on your feedback, it also sounds like the call may have ended more abruptly than intended, and I apologize if that came across as dismissive. That is not the level of care we strive to provide. I do want to clarify one point regarding the pricing. The one-session option you were offered wasn't a higher price—it was actually a courtesy discount from our standard individual session rate for clients who wanted the opportunity to experience hypnotherapy before committing to a larger program. If you're still open to exploring whether Joymind is the right fit for you, I'd love the opportunity to make this right. Please feel free to reach out to me directly at [email protected], and I'll personally make sure you're taken care of. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.
