super immersive! i truly had so much fun making friends and learning from medical professionals. a bit pricey, but would recommend to other friends for sure

My daughter had an amazing experience with outset. She said that they learned a lot about the medical field. They were able to do hands on activities with fake patients. She also said while learning they also had time for fun. I must say it was money well spent. They also made sure that the kids were safe when out during the fun activities. I would recommend all kids to do this program.

My daughter had an amazing experience with Outset at UNC Chapel Hill! The program was engaging, well organized, and provided a fun, supportive environment where she learned so much and made great friends. A special thank you to Lydia, Alicia and Adamaris (UNC Chapel Hill) and all of the counselors for making the week so memorable. Their enthusiasm, kindness, and dedication truly made a difference. Our daughter came home inspired and already can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this program! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had two of my high schoolers use Outset for Peds and Nursing at UNC and it was excellent!! They loved the entire program. Communication was outstanding and I will 100% use in the future. Thanks, Outset Team!!

My son has wanted to become a dentist for several years now. He found this program, applied, was accepted and went this summer. The amount of time and effort each person poured into this program and their students is unmatched. They handled every detail with care and compassion for their area of study. My son is more sure than ever before in moving forward with his dreams. Between the classes, sims labs, activities, counselors, students, doctors, professors, food, campus etc. it was an unimaginable experience come true. My son now wants to come back next summer for a more advanced program within the dentistry field. Thank you for an amazing opportunity of a lifetime. We highly recommend.

Our son recently attended the Outset Pediatric Summer Camp held at the UCLA campus, and we cannot say enough wonderful things about the program. From start to finish, communication was exceptional. Justin, the Camp Director, was absolutely amazing and did a fantastic job keeping parents informed throughout the entire week. As a parent, it was very reassuring to receive consistent updates and know that our child was in a safe and well-organized environment. Although the camp was only one week long, our son came home with so much new knowledge, many new friendships, and even more excitement about his future. This experience truly solidified his dream of becoming a medical professional. He was inspired by everything he learned and is already asking to return next year. We are incredibly appreciative of what Outset is doing for students who are passionate about medicine and healthcare. Programs like this give young people the opportunity to explore their interests, build confidence, and connect with peers who share similar aspirations. Thank you to Justin and the entire Outset team for providing such a meaningful and memorable experience. We highly recommend this program to any family with a child interested in pursuing a career in medicine.

This was the first time our daughter had been to an academic program and a first to be without a single friend she knew. That quickly changed from the moment she arrived at UNC-Chapel Hill. From the helpful staff and smooth drop off, to picking her up a week later, we barely heard from her all week except her photos of a new skill she'd learned (e.g., injections, intubation, and stitches)! She was proud of what she had learned and loved making new friends! We look forward to sending her and her younger sister to another program next summer.
