Absolutely excellent program and experience! It was so hot in the dorms, though, and the food options weren't so great. Be sure to bring a fan! Also, plan for pick up on a Friday afternoon in Seattle traffic. It added hours onto our driving time!

Amazing opportunity and experience including the lectures, the hands on experience, and the activities that Outset planned for the group!

My son had the best experience in the General Medical program at UNC Chapel Hill. He wished he could have stayed another week. He learned so much in the classes and the hands on experiences and had a ton of fun in the evenings. He especially like speaking to the current med students who were counselors who gave him advice about college & med school.

Leonie had such a great experience at Outset. She has been interested in the medical field for quite some time, and this camp really confirmed for her that this is absolutely the career path she wants to pursue. One of the highlights was getting hands-on experience in state-of-the-art medical simulation labs, which made the experience feel incredibly real and exciting for her. She came home even more confident and inspired about her future. The staff was wonderful, caring, and supportive, and she made so many positive memories. We’re incredibly grateful for such a meaningful experience!

My son really enjoyed his week at the outset camp. It helped solidify his belief that he would enjoy a career in medicine, something he has been considering for a few years. Grateful he got the chance to go and live in the dorms, have roommates, eat dorm food and learn about medical careers.

My daughter had the absolute best time at the general medicine program at the University of Washington! I barely heard from her all week (a good sign) - and when she got home she was bubbling with excitement telling me all about the things she did, the people she met, the stuff she learned. 100% would do it again. This program was a good taste of the industry and confirmed for her that’s she’s on the right path for her future.

My daughter just returned from the UCLA Nursing week and absolutely loved it. The overall experience met all of our expectations from the start with excellent communication and insight for parents and participants. She really connected with the Outset community and made great friends who shared her interest and passion. The hands on learning and lectures from caring professionals and simulations were her favorite along with the right mix of daily camp fun and nightly activities. She wants to go back- highlyrecommend!!!

Amazing staff and peers! Super fun and educational. Learned so many things in simulations and lectures. Got a lot of exercise with all the walking!
