Michael loved the camp. He had attended a camp at a different school although he did not stay in dorms and he said this one was by far the best. The only negative thing he said was that it is disappointing that he became friends with some of the students but may not see them again. I believe he was the youngest. He turned 14 on July 10.

This is a good intro to college life for high school kids. That said, they were housed in the oldest dorms with no AC and mediocre food. They made them walk excessive amounts in the heat. They took them to Santa Monica pier without giving guidance on the buddy system. They only had two afternoons with simulations, and the rest was lecture which my student found boring. For what you pay, I don’t think this is really worth it. That said, there aren’t many summer programs this short and dedicated to medicine. We wouldn’t choose it again, but not filled with regret either.

My son came back home with so many stores to tell. He was so happy with the whole experience. He stated it was the best week of his life. He loved his counselors but was so happy to have Diego who was so kind helpful and gave so much positive advice. In all, he addressed that everyone was full of positivity and happiness. He loved the simulation rooms and food! He can’t wait to try and go back next year!

My daughter really loved the whole experience. It was well-planned, had wonderful presenters, focused on building community, and gave a thorough insight to the law profession. My daughter said it was her favorite part of her summer.

I was part of the law program this summer at UNC and I had the best time! I learned so much about law and law school, along with how I can prepare for law school in college and I have decided that I definitely do want to go into law after this week. The counselors were all so kind and welcoming and the environment was so great.

My daughter attended the program in Columbia. Overall she had a positive experience but it was a VERY light intro to medicine. Just know that there's lots of NYC sightseeing/walking off campus, more than expected. She was excited for her Peds class but there was a mix up with their schedule and the class never happened. No makeup, nothing. Disappointed. Great for someone who's never been to NYC and wants a taste of NYC life.

My husband and I were looking for a camp for our son who is Junior (about to enter his senior year) who is also interested in a medical career. We found Outset after a few Google searches and we were glad we did. From the beginning Justin and his team reached out regularly to ensure the process was clear to us. They also hosted virtual meetings which made our son feel confident about going to camp . Our son attended the UCLA/General Med camp and although he was a little nervous he quickly met a great group of kids. He said the lectures we interesting as well as the hands on portion and the after hours activities. He came home excited to tell us all about it. Thank you to the team for making this a great experience.

The classes were very fun and I learned so much about medicine to help me with my future. The staff were amazing, my counselors were very nice and the people who taught us were extremely helpful. I made plenty of friends and the after classes activities were awesome! Will definitely be doing this again!
