Seems like a pattern. My provider was great, but like many others, i reveived multiple, and i mean multiple emails stating I had a bill, but no email ever telling me my insurance.....PPO was not accepted. Even though their website stated it was. $250 bill will multiple daily reminders and never an email from their non existing insurance department telling me they didnt accept my insurance. You should remove the claim that you even take insurance, that's obviously a flat out lie. Convenient that they billed me 2 days after my visit, didn't even try to bill my insurance. Shady business practices for sure. Headed to BBB to report there as well.

Hi Lisa! We are sorry to hear this was your experience. It looks like your insurance was incorrectly marked as an HMO plan when you have a PPO plan. Our billing team fixed this issue and resubmitted your bill to insurance which covered the entire cost of the visit. Again, we are very sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you!

I am incredibly glad that I reached out to MIDI. My provider HEATHER WIERIMA-ADAMS made me feel heard. She addressed and thoughtfully answered all my questions. I’ve been seeing her for treatment for menopausal symptoms. What a difference it has made. Being able to meet virtually is very convenient. Administratively the process of registering, finding a provider, of booking and changing appointments is very easy. I highly recommend Midi.

I signed with Midi because it advertises working with Health Insurance, specifically my United Healthcare PPO plan. I confirmed this online, uploaded my insurance card and was confirmed as a patient. I had a great medical visit online, I love the HRT that was prescribed, but today I received a bill for the full $250 listing me as self-pay. I assumed it was a clerical error so called and was told that my insurance didn't actually cover it and that I'd been sent an email informing me of this prior to my visit. This is not true. I've checked my inbox and junk folders and no such email was sent, just lots of emails welcoming me and confirming my visit. Had I known I would have cancelled the visit since I can't afford to pay out of pocket. I've just gone on the BBB complaints page and found several one-star reviews with exactly the same story so I now believe this deceitful behavior is standard Midi practice. Do not use it unless you are prepared to self-pay from the outset. Do not believe that they will work with your insurance, even if they appear to confirm that your insurance has been accepted. I don't think they even bothered trying.

After failed attempts at getting answers and not feeling heard by my PCP, and after suffering months with overall joint pain, I found MIDI Health, got an convenient virtual appointment and a treatment plan I'm confident will improve my condition and get me feeling back to myself again. Thank you, MIDI Health for this service and focus to Women's Health!

It's great to have practitioners who listen and care about perimenopause, and I'm glad to have received the care I needed. However, the admin and billing staff are making ne wonder if it's worth it. I was initially assigned to a doctor who could not prescribe testosterone and yet she still conintinued seeing me for low testosterone symptoms, and even ordered testosterone labs, and yet did not disclose that she could not prescribe testosterone. I was then told that I would be reassigned to a doctor who could prescribe testosterone and my appointment would be complimentary....but I am still being billed for it. I have emailed, called, all to no avail, have not received a response in over a month.

I found this by Google search. I was going through some perimenopausal symptoms and my physician didn't even acknowledge that it is possible that I was going through menopause. This service was easy to access, easy to book, I found an appointment immediately. My only feedback is to make the initial appointment to an hour instead of 30mins and market this service more. I was lucky to find this

Hi Shiva! Thank you for sharing your feedback! We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your first Midi appointment. We will pass along the idea of an hour long initial appointment to our leadership team.
