I wanted to have high hopes for MIDI
I wanted to have high hopes for MIDI, but to be honest, I should’ve just gone down the street to a basic gynecologist. Firstly, the provider you could tell was sitting in her living room, felt reminiscent of Covid and not professional. I did know that it was an online appointment of course., however, the ‘look’ could be made more professional. I changed my appointment to an earlier date that was available through their booking. My provider was 10 minutes late, she literally said who are you? I had no time to review your paperwork. She complained that they book appointments every 15 minutes and that my appointment was basically thrown on her desk. They say you have an appointment of 30 minutes so at about 10 minutes into the late appointment, I could tell she started getting fussy about time. Hey I wasn’t the one late. I was on time five minutes prior to the session as they require. I was already on hormones est/prog from a previous provider and wanted to discuss ways to feel better. She was fixated on estrogen and progesterone and it seemed that was it. If you are not on estrogen and progesterone, maybe this is the platform for you but if you are already on them seeking assistance., I didn’t find MIDI helpful at all. She did not order any follow up bloodwork, told me that I could be on testosterone however, that would be a different appointment with a different provider and out of her scope. I also was questioning my thyroid, and that was out of her scope also. The whole appointment was rushed, felt insincere, and impersonal. I will definitely not be back if I want that type of care might as well go down the street to any random gyno. Should you choose to proceed with MIDI. I hope you have a better experience than me.
