Just another money making machine. They were very quick to alert me that my insurance was in network and yet I had to pay over $100 for a 15 minute visit that did absolutely nothing beyond what my PCP and gyn had already offered. But dont worry, they’ll charge you quickly and then send friendly text reminders about how easy it is to make a payment online. So sick of healthcare always putting profits above people.

My Midi experience exceeded my expectations! The practitioner put me at ease. Most importantly I felt heard and didn’t feel rushed.

The practitioner was very knowledgeable and I appreciated her time. They say that they will microdose for GLP 1’s and I did not get that. I just got a bill for $1500 for Wegovy. I will not be giving this company my business . I think they may be making money off of initial clinic visits because I don’t know who can afford $1500 a month. I’m getting cheaper from my doctor’s office.

I gave my provider 5 stars. MidiHealth gets 2 stars for two main reasons: link to telemedicine platform only works on my phone, not laptop, so I have to squint at a tiny screen during the consult. The other issue is the unavailability of prescribing testosterone in Wisconsin (though my NP, who lives in WI as I do, has both a WI license and a federal DEA). The result of this is I have to pay a second provider to manage the testosterone prescriptions while my MidiHealth provider manages the other hormones. This is inconvenient and expensive. I prefer to have my MidiHealth provider (Cynthia Trent) to manage it all. I'm curious about why this is.

I have had a wonderful experience with MIDI health. My doctor is so attentive and supportive of me and my needs. She always takes time to listen and ask how am I doing/feeling and what can she help with. We have tried a few different combinations of medicine until we have found what is correcting fitting my needs. She always has suggestions and says we always have different options if something does not work for me. I can honestly say MIDI health truly saved me and my hormonal health as well as my mental health during this new season of life.

This is a great stepping stone if you're just navigating HRT. For those of you more educated or are in the health & wellness area of expertise I would find a good Gyno to provide these services. Every time I needed a refill I needed to arrange a follow-up call & visit. My call would last 2 minutes and cost me $50 per visit. Over a 9-month period I spent $250 in co-pays. And they wouldn't prescribe anything longer than 2 months at a time. My last visit I was annoyed and asked them to extend it to at least 3 months. They do this so you have to pay another co-pay. So I have left this service.

I reached out to MIDI after my prior MD refused to increase my dosage of GLP-1 meds ( I had been at same weight from May- Sept despite diet and exercise & still at 35% - mainly visceral - body fat). From the first , my MIDI GYN listened to my concerns of struggles with weight gain since losing my thyroid to papillary cancer 10 years ago. Thyroidectomy kicked me into perimenopause with chronic fatigue, flashes / night sweats. MIDI MD recommended HRT and agreed increased dosage of GLP-1 meds necessary. I am finally losing weight again, and I’ve been 3 weeks without a hot flash/ night sweat after years of suffering . Thank you MIDI !!

I cannot express how disappointed I am with my experience with Midi. Navigating perimenopause is already stressful for women and while I applaud Midi for trying to give women access to HRT solutions, my personal experience has been extremely frustrating. I thought something as simple as transferring HRT prescriptions would be easy but you are forced to pay and make an appointment to talk with someone every step of the way. What's worse is you may end up on a visit with a clinician that is not actually licensed to prescribe - and you will be billed for your visit anyway. I'm on appointment number 3 now with no progress and messaging a clinician through the portal that just wants me to pay again to continue the conversation.
