Still waiting to see if I can get prescribed meds 12 days after my appointment. The shortage of GLP-1’s is stressful and this process of trying to get compound has also been stressful. EDIT: The team worked to help me resolve the issue and I hope to be starting in the next week! Appreciate the responsive co founder and CE team.

JoinFridays.com has great customer service and super easy to use. Response times are super quick! Would definitely recommend.

I cannot speak more highly of the JoinFridays team!! What a wonderful group of individuals dedicated to helping us navigate our GLP-1 journey. I am new to GLP-1s, and the Support team has been responsive and so patient with me and all of my questions and pestering. They were kind and responsive and never made me feel silly. Plus, my provider is amazing and I am so excited to continue my journey with her. Last but not least, their Dietician is amazing and so willing to share her knowledge and experience on her calls. Awesome. I know some say JoinFridays is expensive, well for me and my situation it is an investment in myself and a key tool for helping me as I continue this adventure on these amazing medications.

The appointment went well. The doctor said I was a candidate and offered to attempt to have the medication coveted by my insurance. I never heard back from anyone and had to reach out to them to even figure out how to get the medication. Once you are logged into the website, many options do not show and there are no instructions provided. In addition, as the dosage increases, so does the price. I work all the time so this would have been a great option, but I can go local and get the same or name brand meds without the price increase. At least I figured out how to cancel it before incurring additional monthly fees. I hope.

Disappointing experience in just one month. My provider barely made eye contact during my first appointment and didn't seem to be listening to anything I was saying. Her responses were brief and it seemed like each question I asked was more and more annoying, but all were relevant questions for someone who is starting new medication. One month later, after filling out a refill request form, I heard nothing. Starting to worry as the injection of the medication they supply is scheduled and missing doses isn't ideal (in fact it could affect dosage strength). I messaged twice and both employees told me they would get back with me within the day. That did not happen. Finally, after waiting over 10 days for a response, I asked for a call. After a few hours an employee called and I had to explain everything. After some research, she found out and admitted to me that while they got my refill request, they never sent an invoice for my medication. An easy rectifiable step the other employees did not handle. By that point it was too late. I requested my membership be canceled. Happy to report I moved on to a new provider who's been much more reliable and has been extremely responsive. I would caution all those considering Join Fridays to look elsewhere.

I have since edited my review to give Fridays another shot. I initially had a bad experience due to my first appt being canceled an hour before and then the provider never showed for my rescheduled appt. I was very frustrated and canceled right away and was refunded. Since this all happened, Sina, one of the cofounders, emailed me with haste and then also called me to apologize and explain there were some kinks to work out since they got really filled up quickly due to shortages and such. You can tell his heart is in the right place and he truly cares about what he does. I will absolutely give them another shot, if nothing else at all, they do truly care and if you are unhappy, they will rectify rather quickly.
