Promise Not Fulfilled
I did a lot of research before I signed up for this. I paid $249 up front to have a physician review my medical history and have them write an RX for semaglutide for me. My file was reviewed within 48 hours and then the rx was sent to the pharmacy. While their customer service was great and very responsive, they really didn't give me any information about when I could expect the RX to be shipped. Part of the reason I signed up for Join Fridays was because they promised the med next day. I waited almost a week and there was no movement on my RX. I then did some more digging and found that many people wait 2 or more WEEKS to get this med from Join Fridays (even for refills). I decided to cancel because this started to seem scammy. Again, customer service was great and very responsive and canceled my plan without much pushback. They did tell me to wait until I receive the med to cancel since I wouldn't be able to get my money back, but I just had a bad feeling since they wouldn't give me an update on the actual RX.

Thank you for your honest feedback — we truly appreciate you acknowledging the responsiveness of our customer service team, even though we clearly fell short in setting expectations around pharmacy timelines. You're right: we should have been more transparent about shipping delays and where things stood with your medication. While we do our best to expedite every prescription, there are times when pharmacy processing and fulfillment take longer than anticipated — and we know that can be frustrating, especially when patients are relying on timely care. We’re sorry that this experience led you to cancel and completely understand your decision. If there's anything we can do to rebuild trust or if you’d like to revisit your care with us in the future, we’d be happy to help. And if you still have any open questions, you can always reach us at [email protected]. Wishing you the best on your health journey. – The Fridays Team
