DON'T SWITCH
Embody was offering a great deal on Tirzepatide so I decided to switch. The rep reached out and confirmed that I would be able to keep my current dosage I just needed to provide proof of my current RX, which wasn't a problem. Then I received several messages stating that I need to provide proof at the consult and they looked forward to meeting me. The problem was I didn't have an appointment and there was nowhere to upload my Rx. The patient portal did not have any appointments available so I reached out to customer service. I was told a link would be sent to me and I can schedule then. A link was sent but I still couldn't make an appointment. I tried the next day and I was able to make an appointment for two weeks later. I log onto the appointment but the provider doesn't show. I received a text message stating that I missed my appointment. I called customer service to cancel but he want to focus on my Rx. It took me almost 5 minutes to get him to understand that I no longer trusted the company and wanted a refund. I explained that saving $20 a month wasn't worth it because of the experience I had with them. If you are already taking tirezpatide don't waste your time trying to switch to Embody!

We’re truly sorry for the frustrating experience you had while trying to switch to Embody. We understand how disappointing it must have been to receive confirmation that you could continue your current dosage, only to encounter issues with uploading your prescription, scheduling your appointment, and then having the provider not show up. We also apologize for the confusion around your appointment and for how difficult it was to get your cancellation and refund request understood. This is certainly not the experience we want for anyone making the effort to transition to our care. We appreciate you sharing this feedback and would welcome the opportunity to review what happened and address your concerns directly. - Embody Team
