Interview with provider was very clear. They asked about my medications and family history. They also asked about previous dosing and medication.

My second week of medicine arrived 3 days late due to UPS issues with their plane. I contacted Embody 5 times. I cannot get anyone to ship me replacement medicine or talk to a clinical person. Customer service can only do so much.

did not send the second month supply when is was suppose to , didn't even send the order to the pharmacy until it was time for my next months dose was due. Keep getting the same old I unsincere appologies from some ( I assume an over seas) agent. After finally being so flustrated and asked for a refund it was a non refundable 3 months commitment. I committed to an agreement that they broke! Then they say it is too late that it has been sent to the pharmacy..... I guess they have no contact with the pharmacy? Bull crap! I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered. I am getting the same crap they did! If you can't handle the orders, they did not even send my order until 5 days after my 2nd order had been paid for which was when my dose was due. DO NOT ADVERTISE UNTIL YOU CAN!!

I signed up with this company for a monthly subscription of GLP1 medication for 129.00/month. I received my first order promptly on August 9th. I took my first weekly shot of 2.5mg on August 10th and subsequently weekly thereafter on August 17th, 24th, and 31st. Each vial is to last 4 weeks. Per the terms, the subscription and medication were to renew monthly on the 3rd of each month. I submitted the patient form required for the next shipment/approval the first day it was available to me on the patient portal on September 3rd. At that point, it was already cutting it very close to not having on time, this company should not be waiting until you run out to send a new shipment. I received a confirmation email stating it would be reviewed/approved within 24 hours. Days went by without any updates. I followed up with this company many times over the last two weeks. I attempted the following communications: 1. Chat a. Monday Sept 7th, disconnected twice, no response b. Tuesday Sept 8th – was told it was escalated but not to expect shipment soon c. Wednesday Sept 9 – this time I told them I wanted to cancel as I had to order this from another company to ensure my medication didn’t lapse. The person on chat told me he would cancel and it reflected that in the patient portal that same day. At this point, I disputed the charge with AMEX 2. Email a. Tuesday Sept 8th – emailed asking for another update, no response b. Monday, Sept 9th, Tuesday, Sept 10th 3. Phone a. Tuesday Sept 8th – wait time of 51 minutes, only to be told there was no update. At this point, I was already a week past due of this medication and per my doctors note and advice, any lapse in this medication meant that you need to start over at the initial dose, instead of moving to the next dosage tier. This meant many symptoms would return that had already subsided and a pause in blood sugar control and weight loss. It was physically not recommended to go without for more than a week. Since I had just started, and this was my first increase, I could not let that happen. I signed up with another company and received my medication in time to not lapse, however that meant I now paid double. On Monday, September 14th, I finally received the approval email that was promised to me within 24 hours on September 3rd. I wrote back via email and said I had already cancelled, I do not wish to have this product sent to the pharmacy. I received several replies over the next few days telling me that it had already been sent, however I didn’t receive any email confirmations or updates on my patient portal that it was in “process” until September 16th. That is seven full days AFTER I cancelled. At this point, I have missed two scheduled injections on September 7th and September 14th. I have continued to email back and forth with their support team, each day they send me an email stating that there is a delay in the pharmacy. I respond telling them I do not care, because I have already cancelled and did not accept this shipment or product. As of today, September 17th there is no ship date. This means I would have missed, at minimum, THREE full weeks of injections, likely four by the time this would actually process. Since I was paying for a monthly medication, going an entire month without would mean a customer should not be billed for what they didn’t receive. In closing, this company waited too long to begin the renewal process, and once it did begin was nine days late to approve. Once approved, they are now four days later without shipment. I am confident I would not get this until a full month has passed. A medication missing for ONE month is not an inconvenience, it is simply not safe. At this point, should they even send the medication, they would be sending me a dose that I could not even consume because of the lapse in medication with their company per medical professionals. I have disputed the 129.00 with AMEX, who has credited me back while they investigate. I have copies of every chat, email and note from my physician. I have asked for a refund multiple times, but they continue to insist that cannot happen. I will not settle on this without a refund. **As of today, still no shipping data so will have officially missed 3 doses. Likely 4** they continue to tell me they are sorry for the "inconvenience". The medical implications make this far more than an inconvenience, like this is the same as a lost tshirt in the mail. Joke of a company.

Payed and got my first order without any problems. Only thing...they sent me 11.25 instead of 15mg.2nd order is where the problems start....Have been trying to talk to someone ever since. I have called and called always getting "it has been expedited" response . Someone will call you within the day. Never happens. Even had a call scheduled with a provider...again no one ever called. Got reminder texts about the phone call, but no call. I have paid for my meds on the 8th of September, and it is now the 18th. No meds. No phone call and out $129.00. My next call is to the BBB and Attorney General. I want my meds i payed for!!!

Hi Mickie, we’re truly sorry to hear about the issues with your first order and the complete lack of communication regarding your second order. We understand how frustrating it is to pay for medication and not receive it, especially after repeated attempts to contact us and being promised calls that never happened. We’d appreciate the opportunity to review your account, including both orders and your attempts to reach support, to understand what went wrong and address your concerns. -Embody Team

The provider I spoke with today answered all of my questions and listened to all of the concerns I had. I just forgot to ask her when I could pick up my anti-nausea medication from my local pharmacy.
