Just still out- but so far so good
Just still out- but so far so good. Full disclosure- I did not pay for a full report yet. I answered all the questions and then got to the point of ‘sale’. I do wish I had known the cost of the reports before taking the test. I received the free report and while I am not surprised by any of the results, it’s a nice confirmation of what I know I WANT to do! The questions do help guide you in a direction that is personalized and I appreciate that! I do intend to get a more in-depth report from JobTest, but wanted to see what the free report divulged first!

Inaccurate summary and lacking expertise
Inaccurate summary of strengths and values and the coach seemed to lack expertise - the coach used ChatGPT in real time to offer guidance (something I had done on my own). The 1:1 was merely a review of the survey/test and nothing new was gleaned from the dialogue - similar assessments and information is available through other sources at no cost. I did not find it significantly valuable for the price.

I expected a little more
I expected a little more from the report. My own assessments pretty much narrowed down to what the report gave. I suppose it is a affirmation of my own thoughts but not real insight.

Waste of Money
I specifically asked in my test to not include certain jobs and my entire recommendation was those jobs. Total rip-off. Don’t give them any of your money.

Not a good choice
I was excited about reading how many people felt this site would really give me some insight into future career paths. However, when I got the results, most, if not all of the recommended career pathways, each one included essential skill(s) that I clearly stated I either wasn’t interested in or was not good at.

“free” test is a scam
They advertise a test as free but end up charging you between $25 - $150 to see your test results. What a waste of time providing so much sensitive personal data that they profit from.

Disappointed
I paid for the least expensive report in hopes of getting a little insight to what type of careers I would be good at based on my personality. Instead, it gave me one recommendation and it was for the career I have been in for the last 11 years. I even entered my information and said what I’m currently doing. Maybe I misunderstood what I would be getting out of this but I thought I’d get insight to new fields with information on what type of education or requirements are needed for those career paths.

Poor job suggestions.
I thought that this would have more insights into jobs that might be interesting, however it put forward jobs that I absolutely am not interested in in any way.
