Jobtest.orgReviews of jobtest.org

So I decided to give this a try for the same reason I assume many others do; feeling lost and looking for inspiration to choose a new direction. Wasn't going to move forward if it cost money but decided to chose the $30 option, as thats not a bad investment for potential and spark. Of the 5 results given, I've really resonated with one of them and feel excited for the first time in a while. Not only was I given a prospective new title, there was follow up info showing me what required soft/hard skills and education would be best, named some software and principals to educate myself on, highlighted pay for entering - senior staff, and linked me to current jobs open to hiring. I appreciate the blurbs from ideally present day people speaking about their experience with this industry, but I have no way to vet whether its real so while appreciated I didn't reference that as much. Very much appreciated the "Next Steps" and "How to gain experience" blurbs and am hopeful this is something I can gain traction on this year. Would never have thought of it without the results from this quiz - thank you JobTest staff :D

I randomly discovered Jobtest.org and maybe it was serendipity but I found their lengthy (30-60 min) quiz to be quite eye opening. Our society has so many different jobs and careers that it can be overwhelming to try something new, but after paying the mid-level ($35) fee for my results, I'm more confident that I can find a career in which I will thrive.

I loved everything about this test. It was very detailed and strategic. I love how it described me as a person and showed me my strengths and weaknesses. However, the word choice that was used about me was very interesting and eye-opening. I plan to work on those skills. I will rise up.

Waste of time. Redundant questions followed by requesting a lot of data from me that is totally irrelevant to personality/career and that I'm sure will be used to send spam to the email address I provided. They got all of that out of me plus my time and gave me nothing in return... they wanted me to pay $150.

I liked the design of the website, and the career test was very straightforward. They asked a lot of questions that were excluded from others especially since others usually only tested for personality and career choice separately. I didn't like that it costed money, but Ig it was a fair price and I would do it again. I do wish that the website was more comprehensive.

There is no disclaimer that you have to pay for the results of the test after taking the time to take it. But I did pay the $35 and get a tad more detail than the $25 one gets you and I liked what I got. Is it worth the money? In some aspects yes it is but in others no it's not. I did like the personality traits and careers in lead me to, I just wish it was cheaper.

Ordered for my teen daughter. The cost of the test, versus what you receive is not worth the cost. $35 for a list of 5 careers and few core traits she ranked high on is ridiculous.

I think that this process in delving into my personality at this age shows a lot of growth and other areas of it Not Not only being a caretaker and artistic painter was my usual responses. For doing a test like this in the passed, and it opened up my eyes to other avenues of where I could use my talents in an office setting. And that's what I'm looking for so I'm looking forward to possibly making those changes in the New Year of what would be suitable for me. And at least I have some kind of directed work towards other avenues.
