This is a great resource I stumbled across in my Google research. I've been contemplating a career shift for some time and I took the Job Test career test. I saw that there were options to review my results with a career coach and I ultimately signed up for biweekly sessions with Jen Earls. In addition to accountability, Jen guided me to online and local resources that I wasn't aware of. Beyond that, she is so kind and supportive and has given me the confidence to pursue a career in interior design. She celebrates my progress each time we meet, which isn't something I'm naturally inclined to do. I feel like I've gained a lot of direction and stability and I hope my future job is as suited to me as Jen's is to her!

Short and Sweet
It was not a long test and gave me good insight into other types of jobs to consider based on my likes/dislikes and personality so that I would be a good fit for those jobs.

A good match!
Honestly, I had modest expectations for this initial session. I expect to be assigned a junior counselor that I would not relate to well. I experienced the complete opposite. Candace is highly experienced and quickly discerned my unique scenario. I’ve been around the block (4 decades of work) but Candace still surprised me. Her experience was well matched to mine so the session was exceptional. (And no, I don’t usually write glowing reviews like this.)

Rita was amazing
I think the career suggestions were well suited to my personality and interests. I really enjoyed talking to Rita as she went into further depth of my career options and was able to connect all my different experiences into one story. She was able to connect the dots that I have struggled to connect myself.

Talking with Candace was very easy
Talking with Candace was very easy. I felt like she very quickly understood where I was coming from and what my interests were. It was great to hear some independent confirmations of my interests and possible directions!

Looked like click bait--was exactly what I needed
I (33 M) clicked on an ad out of curiosity (on Facebook, I think), not really expecting it to go anywhere. I answered some questions, got some limited results, and, of course, the option to pay for more in-depth results. The test seemed intelligent, and the results looked promising, so I bit the bullet and payed for the expanded results.
I have been on a process of self discovery (resulting in a search for a complimentary new career), and the results I got from JobTest helped add definition to the things I've been learning while helping direct my career search. What has been most helpful, however, has been adding a teammate to my career search.
Coach Nicole Ellis has been invaluable in helping deepen my understanding of myself--and my career direction--through free online tools and applying her extensive career experience to my specific needs. She has helped me explore my needs and wants in alignment with my personality, expanding my definition of myself, all while narrowing my career search and career growth efforts in a direction which seems invigorating and sustainable. I feel like I am a good researcher, but Nicole's ability to research, even from half a nation away and in a totally unrelated field, has added power to my efforts and saved me valuable time.
I recently took first steps to start gaining experience and building a network in my desired career direction. There is no way I would have gotten here so fast and effectively without the help of someone who knows how to build a career--even for someone like me who is repulsed by the corporate ladder but still desires personal growth. Sure, I could have done it all by myself, but for a fraction of my paycheck, I have fast-tracked my discovery progress and implemented ways to more thoroughly cement my path forward to my desired future. I will remember my time with Nicole as the catalyst to my career and the money I invested as mere pocket change compared to the worth I will have gained through gaining a sustainable and fulfilling career.
