I’ve been working with Julie MacWilliams for a few weeks now and found her through the Jobtest best match survey. Since starting with her, I’ve had a clear direction on what to do during the search process. I have also had tremendous luck on everything due to my optimized LinkedIn, resume, and cover-letters. Interview prep has given me so much confidence too. Within the first 2 weeks, I got a job offer and interviews/opportunities are still streaming in. I am so thankful for this experience and feel so much better about this whole process thanks to Julie & Jobtest.

I know I have a variety of skills but I have no idea which direction to go in. I've been working with Candace Barr to help find my path forward and it is so helpful to get guidance from a seasoned professional with a wide set of career knowledge. I like that we had an in-depth into session, followed by 30-minute coaching sessions. I'm currently doing every other week while I figure out my direction, but I think I might switch to weekly sessions once its time to really get these applications going. I like that I have the flexibility to change our meeting frequency. Candace encourages me to email between sessions too if I have anything to share. We work through imporant topics in our coaching sessions, then she gives me some 'homework' to do between sessions. I am an extreme procrastinator when it comes to things I don't want to do and I feel emotionally scarred from the last time I was job searching alone a few years ago, so I have difficulty getting myself to actually get the job search process going. Having a coach that I am accountable to lights a bit of a motivational fire for me to actually do the thing. I'm hoping that this job search will be much better than the last one, now that I have an expert helping me use my time and energy towards finding a fulfilling career. I have only had my intro session & 1 coaching session so far, so I will update this review later once I've landed a new job and give you my full detailed experience working with jobtest.org and my coach.

Nicole helped me up my resume game. She also helped me actualize what I want in my career and what skills I already have and utilize.

I've been tailoring resumes for years, and over time you pick up a few things. But in the current job search environment there are so many factors to consider, and so many other capable candidates to compete with, you really need a complete strategy to shine and get noticed. While my resume was already configured for ATS, I worked with Becca Kronenbitter to refine my resume as well as my personal branding strategy. She is easy to talk to, professional, and very knowledgable about the subject in general. After just a couple of contacts I've already worked with her to create a new resume and submitted for a role that is a step up from my current level. I feel confident that, even if I don't get called for an interview, the my application will be viewed and taken seriously.
