Jobscan.coReviews of jobscan.co

I can confidently say that this app is exactly what I was looking for! With its clear and concise layout, it has helped me to create the best resume possible. What's more, the customer service is exceptional! Whenever I need help, the team responds promptly and with great care. I am so impressed with this app that I have referred it to others too. If you're looking for a reliable app for resume and job scans, look no further. This one is truly the best!

Best tool to break through the noise of resume filters and scanners! Jobscan is super helpful in hitting those keywords and tailoring my resume to whatever job I may be looking for. I was able to get wayyyyy more interviews and ended up landing a job thanks to Jobscan!

Resume scan was useful

For the first time in my life, I was having difficulty with a job search. I'm highly qualified and recruiters always came to me. But this time, I had to apply, and for months it was rejection after rejection. Then I realized that these emails were coming in the middle of the night, on Sundays....so I realized that an app was rejecting me and no humans ever saw my resume. I saw a YouTube video from a recruiter recommending Jobscan. And it worked like a charm. I got a bunch of interviews and eventually a senior writing job at a top US magazine. Yay!

No longer trust worthy. I'm a premium /paid user and in the last month the number of interviews I received dropped off a cliff. I have used the regular scanning and scoring for 2+ months since I didn't like the way Power Edit worked and reformatted my resume with errors. Also trying to use Power Edit after scanning provided few suggestion prompts or didn't work at all. This week I ran one job description / resume using regular scanning it scored 78. Ran it thru Power Edit scan from the start and it scored 36! Contacted Customer Service and asked why the discrepancy? Response was the New Power Edit was updated to reflect updates to ATS systems. This was never noted on my user dashboard. No information anywhere that standard scanning is out of date and from my experience worthless. I have wasted hours optimizing resumes. For leaving outdated tools on the site and the lack of transparency Jobscan.co no longer worthy of my trust.

Jobscan is a must for serious professional job searches. Not only are you able to quickly customize your resume, but I found that using the insightful feedback that JobScan provides is very useful in prepping for interviews because it succinctly identifies what skills and competencies are important to the job poster. I used these insights to prepare scenario, task, action, result (STAR) examples that better positioned me when in behavioral interviews.

I cancelled it pretty much straight away, yet they still took £70 out of my account. I need this money back! I didn't find it helpful, it was more annoying! Took too many unnecessary keywords out of the job description. UPDATE: Refund has not received (1/5/2024) ????? UPDATE: Refund still not received (19/5/2024) ??

Jobscan, ATS check (free) is best of all the ATS checks available. Significantly better than enhancvPRO ($50/month). That is jobscan key seller. However 1. needs to be much more transparent about the assumptions of the ATS model used - more than one ATS model used by recruiters and ATS model continually is improved (likely faster than jobscan updated). 2. Many roles, ATS check is irrelevant or is custom built for organisation. Smaller organisation. Or fewer applicants. 3. Does not help with getting past the more important gatekeeper, recruitment system (e.g. Workable). For example, Workable is particularly awful as it drops part of your resume PDF, when it is sent. Most people do not realise this unless you have worked with workable. 4. No ability to add in your own cringe words group, culture-avoid words group. aka ability to remove amercian fluff words which in my country guarantee your resume gets ignored.
