I was trying to source some internal doors and found a design from Jeld Wen that I really liked and roughly the correct size. I had a couple of queries, but repeated emails and phone messages went unanswered with the exception of one (but the rep failed to provide all the information required). I did not believe that a company still trading could be as bad as other reviews indicated, but they are and this was before I had even placed an order. I am now placing an order for a less preferred door but not with Jeld Wen

My contractor ordered an impact slider door thru Lowes made by this company. Leaks in the room below it everywhere! After filing a clsim, submitting multiple documents and pictures they refuse to come out to see whether it is the door or an installation error unless I pay a whopping $160 inspection fee. Their rep at Lowes, Rockledge Florida Dennis does not stay on top of things, promises to call and drags his feet. Buy another brand door, wish I had!
