The worst travel app in Japan. The tickets that I bought could not be issued at the station of departure, despite navitime claiming that tickets can be issued there. There is no mechanism for claiming a refund or file a complaint. Effectively this meant that I had to buy new tickets from the station. I then realised that navitime charged almost double the actual ticket price.

Double check your ticket as they provided me with the wrong one.
I don’t usually like to write bad reviews, but my morning was a bit of a nightmare because of this company. I booked a train ticket from Osaka to Tokyo, waited for the QR code, and headed to the station to collect the paper ticket. After I scanned the QR code, I received four different tickets, which seemed odd already. Furthermore, the times on the tickets were different from the one for the train I had booked. I showed the ticket to the station staff lady, and she looked confused. She explained that the ticket I received was for Kyoto to Nara. I asked her to help sort it out, and after a bit of digging, she stated that unfortunately she could not change it as it had been booked via a third party (Japan Travel).
As I have an eSIM and could not call the agency, I kindly asked her to call them on my behalf, which she did. After the phone conversation, I was informed that the mistake was due to a system failure. I had to pay a 3100 yen fee to change my ticket (which Japan Travel has now refunded); however, because of this delay, I missed my train and had to catch the one after. I am extremely grateful to the wonderful station staff lady, as without her I would not have been able to sort this problem.

Don't buy your train tickets from them
Don't buy your train tickets from them; their website buffers. I didn't receive 2 QR codes. One train ticket's issue date was passed, and there was no refund. I cannot get a refund for the second ticket as I am in Takayama, and the refund has to be at JR East, not Central.
Stood in the counter line to be told no refund, went and stood in line for the Ticket machine, to not be able to extract a ticket with a QR code.
What fraud? I was on their chat for over three hours. I read multiple Reddit threads on this QR code scam.
EDIT - The last response was they stopped chatting with me, and I now have a bill from them on my CC for AUD 600.
Tell me you are a scam without telling me you are a scam.

Terrible, do not use them
I booked a trip from Osaka to Kanazawa on the Shinkansen. The instructions on how to retrieve my tickets were flat out wrong. I almost missed my train because I only allowed 2 hours to collect my tickets but I first tried to use the ticket machines but then had to speak to a JR employee. It would have been quicker and easier to buy the tickets at the machine.
They booked our 3 tickets apart and sat me next to a stranger when half the seats were empty.
Avoid them.

Booked Shinkansen Tickets
Booked Shinkansen Tickets, immediately paid by credit card and didn't get the QR Code for two days. Instead got an advertisement for eSims by mail. Before even delivering the actual goods... Got nervous because it was only another two days till traveling so sent them an inquiry asking. And - coincidence or not - only half an hour later I was notified that I couldn't get the tickets because they're sold out. It took them/AI two days to realise! Yes, it was over New Year, but that's no excuse in this day and age. At least I was refunded on my credit card straight away, so no scam. But a little dodgy anyway... Klook sends the QR Codes within a minute of ordering.

Overpriced Shinkansen tickets with high…
Overpriced Shinkansen tickets with high extra cost and no service.
Or Shinkansen was cancelled because of a Typhoon. We got no information about it in advance and no help with the ticket refund. We went to the JR counter to only get a small amount back since Navitime has extremely high extra costs which aren‘t refundable. I didn’t know that this website is not official and just an overpriced reseller.

High fees; better use official JR websites
They charge extremely high fees for tickets that you can directly buy on the JR website (with less effort).
