The free platform is unreliable. It often can't keep up with price at the market open. When you click on the price ladder it shows the order entry 10 tics away at times. Horrible for day trading. There platform went down and executed orders that I had canceled and confirmed with IB and the Ironbeam desk. I watched the market open with positions open and had executions from the prior day, even though I was confirmed flat on my account and via broker/desk. I took a huge gap down on the open. However, they did review everything and are reversing the orders. Just takes a few weeks of stress, not knowing. Save yourself and get a reliable platform and clearing.

Account setup was easy. The platform is nice. Service has been great as you can get a hold of someone on the phone or chat quickly. Good platform options. Using the free platform w/free market data. Not sure anyone else is offering that.

I've been trading futures for a few years now, and Ironbeam has been my broker of choice for most of that time. Customer Support: This is where Ironbeam really shines. Whenever I’ve had a question—whether it’s about margin, platform features, or just general account stuff—they’ve been quick to respond and super helpful. It’s rare to find a broker where you can get someone knowledgeable on the phone without jumping through hoops. Mike, in particular, has been great. Pricing & Fees: Their rates are very competitive. I’ve compared them to other brokers, and Ironbeam holds up really well—especially considering the level of service you get. Everything is upfront and transparent, which I appreciate. Reliability: Execution is quick, and I’ve never had to deal with random glitches or order issues that I’ve experienced with other brokers. Everything just works, which is exactly what you want when you’re trading. Final Thoughts: If you’re looking for a broker that’s reliable, competitively priced, and offers great support, I’d definitely recommend giving Ironbeam a shot. They’ve been solid for me, and I’m sticking with them.

Complete disasters and non transparency

Needed help to fix a wire that didnt get sent properly and Ironbeam sent back my money as well as helping me find the issue to then send it in a different format. Need to give my thanks towards Raymond G. for everything.

They are really improving and doing their best to get better.

Been dealing with them for a while and everything has always gone smooth. I can always get in touch with someone on the phone. If you don't like the way things are working with your platform, they can help. I like the CQG platform for my phone, there's alot of detail and I can make any size minute chart I want.

On the website, Ironbeam claim they provide trading API. After opening the account and funding the account, I requested the API key on the website for bulilding my own autotrading application. For 2 months, after multiple follow up, i got zero response from the customer service. Not mentioning their deposite/withdrawn process is too slow. I requested an ACH deposite, i got the email confirmation 2 week after the request, and the fund was deposited 3 weeks after the request, WTF, is this a normal practice of a broker? I would not reccomend anyone use this firm
