stay away from the broker, i only tired them as part of the "Robbins Cup}" word trade competition, i have traded for decades and this is the worse US broker i have ever encountered, they will deny your closes until trades goes in their direction and it is not possible to make any active day trading at all with those guys, quality is basically non existing, all i can say is stay far away from IRONBEAM

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, especially given your decades of trading and your participation in trading competitions. We regret that your time with Ironbeam did not meet your expectations. We do want to be clear on a few important points. Ironbeam is a CME Group clearing member firm and licensed Futures Commission Merchant, and we route customer orders directly to the exchange without any in‑house trading or internalization. We do not deny customer closes based on trade direction, and Ironbeam does not profit from a customer losing money; our role is to provide clearing, risk management and access to the markets, not to take the other side of client trades. If you ever feel that an order was not executed or closed as expected, our trade desk can review the full order and fill audit trail for that session to explain what occurred at the exchange level and address any discrepancies. Even when feedback is strongly negative, it is useful for us, and we share it internally as we continue to evaluate execution quality and platform behavior for active day traders. Platform is terrible. Regularly gets overloaded and freezes for 20+ seconds on ES. In fast moving futures markets that will wipe your account out. No it’s not my internet connection - had TradingView simultaneously open and quotes and chart were updating properly in real time. Emailed videos of this to my assigned a/c manager, and a manager. Hours later my a/c manager simply replies saying contact trading desk - not great. Called their number. Guy says he’s not aware of any issue but they’ll send to developers to analyse. 7 hours later their chart still shows missing bar. IronBeam talks of its institutional grade tech stack. Sorry guys - it’s not reflected in user experience. How people trade with this platform when the moment heavy load (market open etc) the platform freezes. Hours later (as of writing) and still no response from support or the manager. Not great. Ticket 020524487 Update 1: market open 6 Feb. No response, and same issue again- freezing up while tradingview has no freeze. Took another screen record this and sent it to IronBeam. With all the videos it’s obvious they need to tweak their stack ao it auto scales immediately (with 1/2 seconds) during increased load. I hope IB acknowledge the problem and give a roadmap to when this will be implemented. I currently have a small account to test out the platform and execution before depositing a large amount but can’t commit unless the platform and execution is predictable.

Thank you for the detailed feedback on platform performance during high-volume periods like ES market open. We take reports like this seriously and continue to invest in our infrastructure to handle peak load and order execution reliability for active futures traders. We understand the importance of predictable execution before committing more capital, and we encourage you to reach out to our support team directly with any ongoing concerns so we can look into your specific experience. I deposited some money into my iron beam account but I didn’t trade much on it because the UI is very unorganized and not pleasant on the eye. I much prefer ninja trader and interactive broker in that regards. I withdrew my money after a couple of months in 2 batches and I was charged a wire fee of 40$ two times. There is no option for ach withdrawal and also no way to see that there is a 40$ charge involved. On top of that my bank also charged me 15$ wire fee two times. Which is absurd for a brokerage not to have a direct ach withdrawal option which will avoid all these problems and also which makes you wonder why their fee is this high. I’d recommend steering clear of this brokerage. There are much better options. I am even considering sueing them because this is a scammy practice. Edit- Where did you communicate there is a 40$ charge? For a domestic transaction that’s absurd anyways. And did you clearly show that check withdrawal is free? This is basically a restaurant advertising free food but writing service is 40$ on the fine print. And even that is better since they at least wrote it on the fine print unlike you guys.
Response from Ironbeam FuturesFeb 5, 2026
Hi Mikiyas, Thanks for the follow-up and for the chance to address your edit directly. Withdrawal fees are clearly disclosed before you request a transfer: they’re posted publicly on our website on the Ironbeam Fee Schedule page (not “fine print”), and they’re also outlined in the welcome information provided when your account is opened. Here’s the link for easy reference: https://www.ironbeam.com/knowledge-base/ironbeam-fee-schedule/ Also, we do provide a no-fee withdrawal option: clients can withdraw via check or wire, and check withdrawals are available at no charge. Bank wire fees charged by your receiving bank are separate from Ironbeam and set by the bank itself. In this case, the charges you’re describing are consistent with selecting wire withdrawals for multiple requests. Any additional fee you saw from your bank is set by your bank and is separate from Ironbeam. If you’d like, we’re happy to review your withdrawal requests with you (dates, method selected, and the exact fee schedule item that applies) so everything is fully transparent. Have a great day, The Ironbeam Team

Ironbeam still has a lot of work to do on this platform. There are too many technical issues that can directly lead to capital losses. I opened a trade through TradingView, but the platform did not display the real execution status of the position. I genuinely thought the trade had not been executed. Because of that, I refreshed the page, and when I logged back in, I was already down $70. This is not fair. What makes it worse is that Ironbeam does not allow you to properly set or manage stop losses when trading through TradingView, which is a basic and essential risk-management tool. As a trader, being unable to protect your position is unacceptable. The platform feels poorly integrated and unreliable, and the way orders are handled creates unnecessary confusion. Losses happen in trading—that’s normal—but they should come from market decisions, not from platform malfunctions or lack of control tools. At the moment, this platform feels designed in a way that puts traders at a disadvantage—not because of bad trading decisions, but because of how the system itself operates.

Thank you for the detailed feedback, and we're sorry to hear about the confusion around your execution status and the resulting loss. We do want to clarify one point directly: stop-loss and other bracket order types, including trailing stops, are fully supported when trading through TradingView with Ironbeam, so risk-management tools are available on that integration. If you ran into difficulty setting one up, that sounds like something our support team can walk through with you directly. On the execution status display issue, that's a legitimate concern worth looking into, since traders need clear, real-time confirmation of whether an order has filled. We'd encourage you to reach out to our support team with the specifics of that session so it can be reviewed properly. The Ironbeam Team https://www.ironbeam.com

I submitted a withdrawal request with Ironbeam and then called the same day to make sure everything was fine. The representative told me there were no issues and that the withdrawal would be processed normally. When nothing happened, I called again the next day and got the same answer — that everything looked fine and the funds should go out soon. Then, almost 48 hours later, I received an email saying my withdrawal was rejected due to an ACH deposit restriction. No one mentioned that policy during either of my calls, and the way it was handled was completely unprofessional. The customer service reps sounded distracted and uninterested, like they had better things to do than help a client asking about his own money. It’s unacceptable for a brokerage handling client funds to provide this level of misinformation and indifference. I’ve traded with other firms, and I’ve never seen this kind of carelessness. If you value professionalism, accurate communication, and timely handling of your withdrawals, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Hey Yoan, Thank you for sharing this detailed feedback about your withdrawal experience and our customer service. Ironbeam does have an ACH funding policy that can restrict withdrawals for a period after an ACH deposit, and this should have been clearly communicated during your initial calls so there were no surprises. The way your questions were handled on the phone does not reflect the standard of professionalism and clarity we expect, and your comments will be used to coach our team and improve how these situations are explained going forward. If you are willing, please contact us directly with your details so a supervisor can review your specific interactions and help ensure any future withdrawal requests are handled accurately and on time. Ironbeam futures is definitely the worst futures trading firm out there. There app is worst than trading websites from late 90's, there execution is as por as dial-up days of internet. Especially when you try to close the order, your market order treated as limit order at clicked price and will not close because market keep moving in the other direction, they close your order on the backend but it will keep squeezing your account to drain as much as they can. In this time and age, having app as poorly functioning could mean either cheap app or intentionally put together to deceive clients out of their deposited funds. I have live account with them 4 months and I will highly recommend donating your money to some homeless than funding a trading account with them. This company is my worst experience in 25 years of trading.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. However, we need to address several inaccuracies in your review that misrepresent how Ironbeam operates. Regarding our platform: Our trading application is built on modern technology and is widely recognized for its speed and reliability. We consistently receive positive feedback about execution quality and platform performance from the vast majority of our clients. Regarding order execution: Your claim that we treat market orders as limit orders is factually incorrect and technically impossible. Market orders are routed directly to the exchange and filled at the best available market price. This is how futures markets function universally. Ironbeam has zero control over market prices or order fills once they reach the exchange. Regarding your "squeezing accounts" allegation: This accusation is completely false. Ironbeam is a registered FCM and operates under strict CFTC and NFA regulations. We make our revenue through transparent commissions, not from client losses. In fact, successful clients who trade more frequently are better for our business. We have absolutely no incentive or mechanism to "drain" client accounts, and suggesting otherwise misrepresents how regulated futures brokerages operate. If you experienced execution issues, they likely stemmed from market conditions, platform connectivity, or order entry errors. All of these are issues our support team would have been happy to review with you. We encourage all clients experiencing technical difficulties to contact our support team immediately so we can investigate and resolve any legitimate concerns. We take regulatory compliance and client service seriously. If you have specific documented instances of platform malfunction, we invite you to share them with our compliance team for review. Have a great week, The Ironbeam Team https://www.ironbeam.com

Im editing my review so it includes my honest opinion. I feel as though something less than honest is going on here. They do not keep records of trade executions that include time stamps, excess margin, acct balances, excess liquidation, etc. As is required by all FCM's per CFTC and NFA. The daily statement does not include times that the trades took place. To make matters worse, you are given inaccurate trading prices quite frequently, candles are omitted, there ARE account minimums, you will be auto-liquidated based on these inaccurate trading prices. I have done my due diligence and these have been issues that have been going on for a couple years from what I can tell. They'll respond if they respond by stating that 'your data appears to be fine on our end.' What to look for? When your mouse cursor is not in line or is out of sync with your indicators. Their commissions are 4-40x's what other FCM's are in some cases. ------------------------------------------------------- Nano Bitcoin Average Commission: $0.05 per contract IronBeam Charges: $2 PER CONTRACT ( after nfa, clearing, and other fees $2.75 per contract) ----------------------------------------------------------- Micro Contracts Average: $0.09 per contract IronBeam Charges: $0.99 PER CONTRACT (after nfa, clearing, and other fees $2 per contract) ------------------------------------------------------- I have just sent them an email asking if they can waive the $40 withdrawal fee so I can close my account. I will update with the results. update: still have not waived $40 fee. 9 or 10 days went by without a response as to whether or not they would waive the $40 fee. They completely ignored the request. After initiating the withdrawal via wire transfer they then offered to send a check free of charge. I mean this and I am not over exaggerating but I honestly did not feel comfortable accepting a check from them. If you opt to open an account with IronBeam and you experience unexpected liquidations, misaligned cursor on your charts, unequal spacing between the time markers on the lower axis of your chart, inaccurate market pricing that adversely affects your p/l mid trade, candles being minutes, tens of minutes even hours behind while some or all of your indicators are still rendering, it is not a glitch, it is not lag, it is not you needing to clear your cache, restart your computer or otherwise. Dont allow yourself to get taken advantage of. They are required to keep records of trade executions that include time stamps and dates so you can reconstruct your trades incase the need arises to dispute anything. If something is out of place, take a screen shot, if you can, screen record your entire trading session so you have your own records to review. They waived the $40 withdrawal fee!. Now if theyll give me my trade executions Ill be happy to leave this sorry excuse for a broker behind me.

Thank you for the extended review. A few of the specific claims here are inaccurate and worth correcting directly, since other readers may rely on this information when comparing brokers. On commissions: Ironbeam's micro futures commission is 39 cents per contract under standard published rates, not 99 cents as stated, and nano contracts like Nano Bitcoin are priced at 25 cents per contract, not $2. Exchange, clearing, and NFA fees are separate line items disclosed on our public fee schedule and apply industry-wide regardless of broker, they are not an added markup unique to Ironbeam. On recordkeeping and execution data: as a CFTC-registered FCM and NFA member, Ironbeam maintains full trade execution records, including timestamps, and these are available to clients through their account statements and upon request from our support team. If there was ever a specific instance where requested trade data wasn't provided, that is best resolved directly with our team using the relevant account and date details rather than through a general claim of noncompliance. On the withdrawal fee: the $40 domestic wire fee is a standard, published charge listed on our fee schedule, not something specific to this account, and it was ultimately waived as a courtesy. We take reports of pricing data or chart display issues seriously and encourage anyone experiencing that to send specifics to our support team so it can be properly investigated.
