My broker guided me on the difference between the various platforms they offer and which ones would be a good fit for my trading strategy. I am very happy with Ironbeam. I have traded with several brokers over the years and Ironbeam delivers amazing customer service, the trade desk is great to work with, and the software is built for real traders. The comfort of knowing that all of the staff is experienced goes a long way unlike the larger houses where you are just a number.

The worst free trading platform ever.... That I have ever used... Also customer service is not that good... A lot of calling them back to fix things.... like money taken out of my account before I even made a trade...among other things.

The free platform you picked is an older platform that lacks the features you'll find on today's modern trading platforms. From what we understand, this is a platform that you've elected to use with us for many years. We have other free platforms that are much newer and have more features. We offer 30+ trading platforms, so if you're unhappy with the one you chose we have many other options. In regards to the charges to your account, the platform you originally enrolled in isn't a free platform, and we reversed those charges to you at our expense. I found Ironbeam through the 30 days of commission free trading promotion they were running. I’ve been satisfied with their service so far and getting up and running was easy. Not a whole lot of brokers offer CME span margins on the spreads that I trade but Ironbeam was willing to accommodate.

The level of service and expertise you get at Ironbeam is above what I’ve experienced at other places. Opening my account was quick and painless. I had many platform options upon opening the account and after a few tutorials with Ironbeam I felt comfortable to start trading live with them. I hadn’t heard of Ironbeam until recently when the Firetip X platform launched. I had worked with many brokers in the past, but decided the take the leap and go with Ironbeam after testing out a demo of their platform. I’ve been very happy so far. The a staff is friendly and professional and the trade support I’ve had so far has been good.
