Investorplace has proposed a new service, the AI Portfolio.
I tried to subscribe (from Europe): impossible, their payment system signals errors in the credit card data, while they are exact, and then freezes.
I tried to phone them, but the 800 numbers do not accept calls from abroad.
Maybe this service is reserved to the US. In this case they should say it, and avoid customers wasting time.

After subscribing to Louie Navellier…
After subscribing to Louie Navellier Growth Investor newsletter online for years, now IVP will not allow me to do so. IPM customer service wants me to complete the renewal by phone. This is simply poor customer service. Also, it sounds like a training issue at IPM.
The people at IPM could improve their business by simply listening to the customer, rather than just following the money. Just my opinion.

We apologize for your frustration and for the experience you’ve had. 5 star about customer reps, no one making $
Glad my credit card company declined the purchase. Read a ton of reviews here. Looks like ALL the 5 star ratings are about customer reps. I have yet to find any that say they made any money on their financial advice. Wow. That speaks volumes. Glad i paused and did some easy homework, thank you citibank cc.

Hi Kalaine,
Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. While many customers do comment on positive experiences with our customer service team, our goal has always been to provide independent research and education to help subscribers make informed investment decisions — not guarantees of profit. Investing outcomes vary based on timing, risk tolerance, and individual decisions, and we encourage everyone to do their own research before subscribing. We appreciate your feedback and wish you the best in your investing journey.

Semi-Legitimate company using scam tactics
I believe I signed up for a free news letter. Maybe I didn't I'm not sure but it's irrelevant. They want to deduct over $120 from me for getting a newsletter that I would NEVER have paid for or ever have interest in paying for. I also would have never given them a credit card but they are telling me they are going to charge my card, which would be 100% without my permission. So either it's a sleazy trick to try get me to sign up and pay. Or they are going to try deduct my credit card, which under no circumstances what I have ever given them permission to do. Avoid at all cost.

Hi Ti,
Thank you for reaching out, and I truly apologize for the experience you’ve had. I can understand how concerning it must feel to receive a charge notice for something you didn’t intend to purchase.
To clarify, we do offer a number of free e-letters, and we never charge for those. If you’re receiving a notice about an upcoming charge, it most likely means there’s an active paid subscription associated with your account.
We’ve requested a bit more information through the app so we can locate your account and cancel any active subscription right away to ensure no unwanted charges are made.
If you’d prefer, you can also reach us directly by phone at (800) 219-8592 or by email at [email protected], and we’ll be happy to take care of this for you as quickly as possible.

Not for me!
As has been said in previous reviews by others, these guys engage in a lot of hype and fear tactics that encourage you to click on more and more links ("hurry, before it's too late...") leading to endless blather about past investment strategies and trends, old-news charts, re-posts of previous articles, quotes by others, upcoming "secret opportunities" and "impending investment disasters" or preposterous upsides without providing any real, useable recs. The thing they seem best at is hyping InvestorPlace. I wish I'd done more research on them before I signed up. Maybe there is some success to be had if you dig deep enough or suffer through enough snake oil presentations, but its not for me. Better off sticking with MF, Zacks or Seeking Alpha. InvestorPlace feels like going to an AMWAY conference. One positive note - the customer service rep I talked to when I cancelled my subscription was pleasant and professional (although there was some light up-selling trying to get me to stay).

This Is B.S
A lot of scare and fear factors with dozens of emails a week asking for thousands of dollars. That is what I got from this service, with recommendations that claimed to be better than market return and faster. For example, CUE was luke langos recommendation last year, now I am down FIFTHY-FIVE percent (-55%). It was recommended as a small mega moonshot at $3.75. Now it is even worse still at 1.30! Of course, I am going to hold since I am already losing, But for a short-term buy in less than a year recommendation, This Is B.S.

I got some catastrophic recommendations…
I got some catastrophic recommendations from InvestorPlace, including Alarum that tanked now nearly 60% I bought it after the first advive to buy, and was still recently pushed by Louis Navellier, although it had already gone done more than 20%. Luke Lango has been pushing a riculous "L-shape signal" where even his charts showed stocks taking off more that a year after the "signal", most certainly due to completely other factors. He also showed several time a video of the TSM fab in the US being started on, although in reality it is finished and getting operational already ! And they are now pushing quantum computing although it is still in its infancy and has not been used yet in any commercial way !
The only guy who seem to have some right advice is Tom Gentile. The rest is random and only there to make people pay for their very average and often wrong "special reports", or even publishing outright falsehoods. Not worth the money you put in, in my opinion
Response from InvestorPlaceAug 29, 2024
Hi Bernard,
Thank you for sharing your experiences and concerns. We're sorry to hear about the difficulties you’ve encountered with some of the recommendations and insights.
I understand your frustration, especially when recommendations do not align with your expectations or investment goals. It’s important to remember that investing in innovation megatrends, like those Luke Lango focuses on, often involves a long-term approach and can be subject to significant volatility. Luke provides daily notes to ensure his subscribers are well-informed about market trends and developments. As outlined in our terms, we emphasize that “None of InvestorPlace Entities shall be liable for any investment decisions based upon or results obtained from the Services and/or Content.” Investing inherently involves risks and uncertainties, and while our recommendations aim to provide valuable insights, past performance is not a guarantee of future results.
We're happy to have you as a subscriber and are pleased to hear that you’re having a positive experience with Tom Gentile’s insights. Tom’s primary mission is to teach others effective trading strategies and help them achieve a secure financial future. He uses proprietary technology to identify predictable and consistent market movements, which he views as one of the most effective and reliable ways to profit.

mainly designed to scare investors into…
mainly designed to scare investors into parting with huge sums of money. You are better of Base64, it attends to complains and takes accountability, make up your own mind rather than blindly following a marketing company with some AI BS thrown in along with some made up names.
