Excellent service, the staff is friendly

This company helped me move back to Argentina from Seattle. Top Notch people; great communication all the time that made me feel safe; the coordination, the timing and everything worked as they told me over the phone. Ronnie and Marina were fantastic and their partner in Buenos Aires (Fabian) a great professional as well. If I ever have to move/relocate overseas I will ask them without hesitation. I recently had a wonderful experience with International Sea & Air. After looking at 4 estimates and reviews of service, I'm so happy I chose International Sea & Shipping. They were with me through the entire 4 month process, from the Sales Agent, to the Move Coordinator, to the Operations Manager, Ronny, in charge of picking up our things from an Oregon storage facility to the VP of Overseas Moving Specialists who kept me informed of changes and the arrival date in France. All questions and concerns were addressed promptly and there were no unexpected surprises. Our container arrived in France, cleared customs and was delivered by a wonderful delivery company out of Marseille. Not one glass, or crystal goblet or china dish was broken in the overseas voyage. I really felt like a valued client during each hand off and the company's customer service was excellent. I would highly recommend them for any international move.

I am very pleased with the way my shipment from Germany to California was processed. Janice and Niki were very helpful and patient with me. They answered my many questions in a respectful and friendly manner. The packers were prompt and worked quickly, but carefully. Ronnie responded promptly and let me know when to expect my goods. Even Nathan, the driver who brought my goods to my house, was friendly and efficient. This was my first time using a shipping service, and I would definitely recommend ISAS to others.

Do not use this company unless you want to gamble on which items will show up. We chose this company to assist with our move to Germany based on the good reviews, but I would never recommend them. In addition to the sales person going MIA after sale was confirmed, we lost 3 boxes of items (ironically, or perhaps intentionally, the most valuable of our items), and as they use third parties to perform all parts of the move, there is no accountability. Emails from their office to the outside vendors regarding our missing belongings went unanswered. Additionally, we ended up with an extra moving blanket in one of our boxes, which clearly shows our belongings were rifled through. The insurance that they offer (which we payed for) only covers total loss, so if one of their many service providers removed a box, it is not covered. As mentioned at the beginning unless you want to gamble on which items go missing, I would steer clear of this company!

1 Jeanine and Niki both very nice people and easily contacted they are always available when you have a question 2 I was given all information about the shipment and extimated cost 3 packing very professional crew. Each item was carefully wrapped and packed in boxes my grand piano was carefully dismantled and crated. 4 their destination agent in the Phil Pronto express very efficient also I was informed regularly when shipment will arrived and they did all the paper work to get my tax exemption 5 goods arrived in very good condition only one very small chip out of 84 item in one of the furniture 6 unpacked all items and carried them where i directed them to place in our house Note all items were carried only up to second floor all in all very good experience I will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who wants to ship their goods overseas Asteria Gabriel Reyes

Only real problem was lack of information which is awkward when waiting and having no idea when your stuff is gonna turn up. Also initial estimate of container size was off, had no alternative but to go to a 40ft for a significant extra charge.

Extremely professional from start to finish.
