I have looked into this and it really is just encouraging “agents” to sign up as many people as they can to join their team. Our small town is now awash with these young people (mainly women) calling themselves Travel Agents. Most have no experience of different countries and have just watched a few training videos. I also notice that after their initial excitement and enthusiasm on social media at being told they are Travel Agents, they soon disappear. I actually don’t think local sites should allow them to advertise what is actually pyramid selling.

I wanted to select NO stars. I have been trying to quit Inteletravel for 6 weeks now, they just won't let me leave and keep taking my money. Their contact system is atrocious. I have sent many emails, they seem to place as many hurdles as possible to keep you in and paying. Not happy, I signed up 5 months ago and spent alot of time and money working it. Very excited at the beginning. I still believe networking marketing is a great concept, but please tread carefully with Inteletravel. Chances of success is very very slim. You are not allowed to share the truth about the business. I hope you every success in all your endeavours. I appreciate many are still trying to succeed in this, if you believe then continue. But just get a true picture of the way they operate. Apologies for the negativity. Good luck.

EDIT: a couple of days after posting this Inteletravel had found my cancellation request and refunded the £64. You do “train” to be a travel agent but after watching mandatory videos the test consists of a multiple choice quiz which you need to get full marks on (and if you don’t the up lines just give you the answers). Any questions I asked the uplines I was constantly referred to the Live Chat option (message the US based agent support service basically) or told to search the Facebook group - which I always did first before asking much to my frustration. Genuinely don’t think a lot of people were knowledgeable but mainly in it to recruit and build a team which is where the money is at. And take the 5* reviews with a pinch of salt, while I was a part of this they were asking everyone to leave good reviews. I decided to leave as I had set up a little business on the side that was just going to be a hobby as and when but that started doing well and with a full time job as well I didn’t have the energy for this anymore. FIRSTLY there is no where on the back office that states how you can cancel your monthly £32 payment. I ended up going on the Live Chat which I was given a link to a page where I submitted a form to cancel - I have no doubt that I filled this in correctly as it took so long to get to this cancelling stage I had triple checked everything was correct and submitted!! This was the beginning of August, I then had a payment taken out end of August. I was half expecting that as I thought I might of missed the cut off for that period. However end of September and I had another payment £32 taken out!! I immediately logged back into my travel agent portal (surprising since this was supposed to have been cancelled) and submitted a ticket, then I found the customer service email and also emailed them (Live Chat wasn’t available). I still haven’t had a response and this was about 4 days ago now. The payment also doesn’t show as a direct debit or standing order (which you can immediately cancel) so I have just gotten off the phone to my bank. Interestingly the guy told me that this payment is set up as a repeat card payment which you can’t cancel off your banking app or even online and in his own words he thinks it’s scammy as it makes it difficult for people to stop the payment, bearing in mind I went through InteleTravels own procedure of cancelling nearly 2 months before. The only perk to this was getting exclusive rates through a website as someone in the travel industry. Personally though I would not recommend this after the hassle it’s been to stop the payments and from other reviews it doesn’t look like I’m the first to have this problem. Just do your research and decide for yourself if it’s worth it x

I decided after a few weeks to cancel my membership because I honestly couldn't see this moving, especially with COVID. Well, I requested my money back and have not received a dime, except for the app I had to pay monthly to use. When I joined they said I had 90 days to try it and get my refund back if I was not satisfied. I see now that they do not stand by their statement. I think it is a way to lure people into thinking that they can get a refund. Do not get caught up in this company. I usually do some research before I spend my money, but the person who talked to me was someone I trusted. I should've followed my gut.

They refuse to give you a refund if you are unable to make money which is the entire point of asking for a refund you are not allowed to use the services you need until after 60 days but your money back guarantee ends in thirty days although they say you have a year. They told me I must book a cruise a hotel and trip before you can request a refund if I was booking all these I would not be asking for a refund it's just another pyramid scheme save your money don't waste your time and their hold times for any help is 12hrs not worth the money I spent

I would be careful about joining this company. I saw an ad on Facebook and decided to get in touch with the recruiter to find out more. She was very charming and after a chat, I said I would think about it. She was thereafter quite persistent so I agreed to watch one of their “events” where a number of people talk about how great Inteletravel is. I was still sceptical so looked into it further. After much thought and research, I have come to the conclusion that It's fine if you are just happy to get discounts for booking travel for family and friends (as long as this covers or surpasses your monthly fee). But really the only way to make a proper income from this is to build a team. And to do this you have to join the partner company called PlanNet Marketing. They charge a further monthly fee. Both fees total about £47 per month. And you pay a joining fee of £142+ upfront. Part of the fee goes to the upline every month. So essentially the “Directors” receive income from monthly subscriptions lower down the ranks which they call “residual income”. An MLM really. Anyway, I would recommend thoroughly researching both InteleTravel and PlanNet Marketing before committing. Do look at the websites and in particular their Income Disclosure Statement which shows the disparity of earnings of those at the bottom of the recruitment chain as opposed to those at the top. Also read lots of reviews from different sites to get an all round perspective.

I am not on here to slate Inteletravel/Plannet Marketing but to give an honest review of my 15 months with them. Yes possibly joined at the wrong time due to restrictions. I made 3 bookings during this time 2 abroad 1 staycation. Commission is appaling £12 on a £300 holiday .Both holidays abroad cancelled 1 due to Covid 1 due to a holiday company not being able to provide what was purchased by my client, very long battle to get a full refund! The real commission is in 10,000+ holidays which honestly is unrealistic. You need to be active on social media 24/7 insta/twitter/fb all platforms to get your name out there. The upline I had left me high and dry after I had signed up Zero support from her, which is disgusting. I did get taken under the wing of a lovely lady after 6 months, by this time the damage had been done. I could no longer sell something I did not believe in. Some of the companies we have in the back office do not offer price parity so its cheaper for the client to book through the high street travel agent.In all honesty I would never book a holiday with them I will be using on the beach teletext etc as they do have the cheaper holidays that intele cannot beat. I am not saying dont join, but there are so many ITA'S that honestly you stand very little chance of success. I hope this review was helpful.

I’m an agent with the host agency InteleTravel and looked at a couple of other companies in the U.K. before getting signed up with intele. What stood out to me in these reviews was the confusion of it being a mlm/pyramid etc and I can say after thorough research and speaking from experience it definitely is NOT. I am an agent only, I chose not to partner with plannet who’s the other company you have the option to partner with if you want to have your own team of agents and more earning potentials. I love to travel and use the travel booking system purely for our own family savings, on occasion I’ve booked my close family travel too as I was able to access better rates and earn the commission back myself. In the beginning it took me a while to learn the systems and partners sites but over time I’d like to now say I’m much quicker at doing price comparisons and knowing where to go. This definitely isn’t something for you to get rich quick overnight or in a few weeks but it does however provide long term earning and of course if you are travelling yourself it makes sense to use to save and get the agent discounts. I actually made my yearly fee back in my first commission I earnt! Only downside is the company is US so office isn’t open until 2pm in the afternoon if you have questions. Saying that though the chats, team support and mentor I have are incredible. I guess it depends what you’re looking for, if you want cheaper travel, a flexible income earner on the side or want a new career change then yes definitely explore further. I watch a lot of the team doing the marketing bit and to be honest I have to say it’s much better seeing holidays shared than these skincare/weight loss products. I’d be tempted if my situation changes to try that side!
