We travel as a family often and have a range of holidays from luxury to weekends away. I thought we would be perfect candidates for making some big savings, but really 98 times out of 100 I could find better deals myself.
I always could get better pricing on booking.com with genius level 1 and most direct travel agent rates weren’t available in school holidays.
I did 18 months of this and put a lot of time into researching and trying to find good deals, but I honestly think it would be super hard to make savings here if you aren’t involved in the pyramid marketing side of the business.
Proceed with caution

Not recommend this company
“The lady who provided the service was good, but this company charges higher prices than normal. I lost £320 and would not recommend them. Be careful and double-check the prices they offer.”

Disappointed
I am extremely disappointed with Intele travel and the service it has provided. I was an agent and cancelled my membership about 2/3 months ago after not having much business or support. Since then I have had nothing but trouble.
I was told I would get my commission around 30-60 days after the holiday had occurred. I am still yet to solve the problem too.
I was speaking to one lady today and she repeatedly told me it wasn’t registered when it 100% had been and then she cut me off. I was not rude and there was no reason for her to do this when all I said was that I know it was registered. I then had a lady, who told me I was being disrespectful when all I said was that all this rigmarole was getting ridiculous!!
I am incredibly annoyed by the service and lack of help I have received when I was once an agent.

Just cancelled my membership after…
Just cancelled my membership after nearly a year. I booked several holidays for friends and family and the holidays are a lot more expensive than customers booking themselves IMO). I had regular issues with contacting Inteletravel to assist me with various things such as a cancellation of a holiday and also obtaining commissions which I am still waiting for since July 2024.
The worst experience was that Inteletravel never paid a booking that was fully paid by the customer weeks before travel. It was cancelled 2 days before travel (as Intele did not pay it) but the customer/myself were not contacted. They arrived to a hotel booking that had been cancelled and had to pay again (direct to hotel) to stay before they received a refund the following day. I got no assistance whatsoever by Intelletravel (would not even speak to me on the phone) and to this day my complaint has not been resolved. I tried to explain this to other agents on a group chat and it has been deleted so they clearly do not wish for others to be aware of problems encountered. My advice is not to join this agency as it is more stress than it’s worth.

AVOID!
I signed up as everything seemed too good to be true. I was with the compny a year, booked a few holidays had a few customers however this company is sold to you as lies! The deals are not deals.. i found cheaper holidays just by browsing online and not through Inteletravel. Embarrassing when customers are finding holidays cheaper and we cannot price match. Lets not talk about commission. I am having a nightmar chasing payments owed to me from 7 months ago!!! Quick enough taking our money however cannot pay the members what they owe. I honestly wouldnt waste your time, i have moved to another company with no monthly fees, no start up fee, no endless hours of training just simplicity which is what we all need.

Never again....
In November 2022 I booked their London Royals Palace coach trip for 10th -14th July 2023.This booking was for me and my Mother (80 years old). This was our first trip with this company, and sadly will be the last.
1. We were not sent luggage tags. (Note I booked this in November 2022 so plenty of time to send them)
We were the only party not to have them, which meant the coach driver had to write tags out for us before we boarded to avoid our luggage being misplaced when we switched coaches, delaying pick up.
2. We travelled on Monday 10th July, arriving approx 3pm at the Ibis hotel, Heathrow.
We were told to be in the restaurant for 6pm for our evening meal. We had all had a long day travelling so this was much needed.
When we arrived in the restaurant, I went to sit down and was told "you can't sit there" - we were sent to sit in a certain area.
The food we were served was: a Bain Marie of sausage, mash potatoes, gravy, coleslaw, and (possibly) potato salad. No tea or coffee.
We all questioned whether this was correct. I'm vegetarian so couldn't eat the sausage and there was no alternative. The waiter confirmed that the travel company had confirmed the menu for us.
Others from my coach party said the sausages did not taste good at all.
We were told that we could purchase food from the menu with 20% off- but having paid £499pp and expecting a meal, we were not prepared to do this and should not have been expected to!
3. Ibis Hotel is cashless- we were not told this and we travelled with cash.
4. The waiter looking after us in point 2 was a trainee- he spoke to his manager about our issues with the food and the manager just sent him back to us with the 20% discount offer. The manager did not speak to us, apologise or try to resolve the issue at all. Poor management and leadership.
5. The evening meals did improve slightly over the week but I feel that was only because our whole coach party complained, and our driver Terry did his best to escalate it for us too. I was told on the Monday that they would prepare a vegetarian alternative for me for Tuesday. This did not happen, I had to ask and they made it whilst I waited (pasta with a plain tomato sauce)
6. Buckingham Palace trip was cancelled and replaced with Hampton Court Palace. Obviously the Palace being closed is out of your control but you then decided to cram Windsor Castle and Hampton into one day, leaving Wednesday for just Kensington Palace which really does not require a full day. This left us rushing around Windsor to leave for 1pm on to Hampton Court. If you consider the demographic of your coach party, you should have understood this would be too much for them in one day. Alot of the party (including my Mom) missed out on Hampton Court and its gardens as they were just too tired from Windsor. Poor planning.
7. Our rooms were only cleaned once through the 5 days. Tea and coffee supplies in the room were only replenished if we asked, same for clean towels.
I sent a complaint to both Inteletravel and Shearings on 16th July and still awaiting a reply. Never again!

Very amateur and very cliquey
The back-office systems are dreadful, very clunky and dated. I could only ever get through to anyone on chat or email once the US were open. There are lots of training calls you can attend, all of them in the evening and sometimes supplier's attend to go through their deals/system/properties. The destination training delivered by the so-called top agents is rubbish, it felt like they were just reading what was on the PowerPoint slide and to be honest I could have found out more myself with a quick Google. I have worked in travel for a number of years, I thought I would enjoy working for myself, but the Covid hit. But apart from that, I don't think anyone in charge of the agents has much of an idea what they're doing; the management structure they have for agents is very geared to sales (there are 2 arms to this business; the travel booking arm and the signing agents up arm) and nobody I dealt with had any real travel knowledge. Managers are constantly posting on social media about how you have to make your own success and how they are up and taking team calls at 6am and we should all be doing the same or else we will never succeed. I personally found it to be patronising, aggressive and totally demoralising, also who was she trying to convince?! The lady that "signed me up" was lovely and was helpful, she would always respond to my messages in the WhatsApp group. The rest of the group was a bit of a clique and they only ever seemed to make bookings for themselves, I didn't encounter anyone that had managed to build a decent business. As already mentioned in a review, you are completely love-bombed when you are on your way to joining, but after that you need to be "one of the gang" to feel like you belong. Again, I know Covid hit the industry but it all felt extremely amateur to me. I have since changed jobs and am now much happier and earning a LOT more than I was when I signed up. I don't have the time to be dealing with poor systems and 1-hour-plus phone queues to speak to a Tour Operator to earn less than 10% commission on the majority of products! My advice to the powers that be; get better systems, ensure that team managers have a decent travel industry knowledge and sort out your training offering.

I would be careful about joining this…
I would be careful about joining this company. I saw an ad on Facebook and decided to get in touch with the recruiter to find out more. She was very charming and after a chat, I said I would think about it. She was thereafter quite persistent so I agreed to watch one of their “events” where a number of people talk about how great Inteletravel is. I was still sceptical so looked into it further.
After much thought and research, I have come to the conclusion that It's fine if you are just happy to get discounts for booking travel for family and friends (as long as this covers or surpasses your monthly fee). But really the only way to make a proper income from this is to build a team. And to do this you have to join the partner company called PlanNet Marketing. They charge a further monthly fee. Both fees total about £47 per month. And you pay a joining fee of £142+ upfront.
Part of the fee goes to the upline every month. So essentially the “Directors” receive income from monthly subscriptions lower down the ranks which they call “residual income”. An MLM really.
Anyway, I would recommend thoroughly researching both InteleTravel and PlanNet Marketing before committing. Do look at the websites and in particular their Income Disclosure Statement which shows the disparity of earnings of those at the bottom of the recruitment chain as opposed to those at the top.
Also read lots of reviews from different sites to get an all round perspective.
