This is a multi-level marketing scheme (MLM), also referred to as network marketing. It is essentially a pyramid scheme with a product or service loosely involved but you people who sign up can't actually make any money from selling. The only way you can succeed is by recruiting others. The funny thing about this MLM is that you pay a bunch of money at the start to join and then you pay a monthly service fee and then you can earn commission off the tours you sell and the tours anyone that you recruit sells. The problem is, if any of the people who signed up for this did any research, they would find that they could just sign up for Viator as an affiliate and make 10% of the commission rather than paying the MLM and splitting their commission with their upline (the person who recruited them). It's actually pretty clever. Sad for the people who get sucked in, but clever. Anyway, long story short, stay away from this either as a customer or as a potential new "travel agent". Resrach MLMs and look at the InteleTravel income disclosure statement. The company is forced to disclose it and you'll see in blank and white that less than 5% of people make above the monthly service fee.

I wish I’d found it sooner. Reading lots of bad reviews on here, but I think it is down to expectations and what you want from the business. Get rich quick definitely not ! Build a consistent travel business working as an independent agent with loads of support and loads of great suppliers, absolutely Yes !! I started during the pandemic and as I expected it was slow due to people either not being able to travel or being worried about travel, however over the last 6 months I have seen an increase in enquiries month on month, and I am super excited for what the future has in store for me. Recruiting others is not why I joined so that side of the business ( which is actually completely seperate) does not interest or effect me at all. Commissions are paid after the travel has taken place, so in some cases that can be a bit of a wait, but now I am consistently booking and the travel is taking place I am seeing a regular monthly income from my bookings. The best thing I have ever done !

AVOID! This is just another pyramid scheme intent on recruit recruit RECRUIT so that your upline makes a profit. You do NOT get the best rates on the rooms, anyone can Google and find them cheaper on well-known websites. Don't waste your time or money!

This business just keeps getting better… This business just keeps getting better and better! It’s been a tough couple of years for us all, especially in the travel industry. However, the leaps and bounds that this company has gone through to ensure we have everything we need is something I will be beyond grateful for. With all the new changes that have just been implemented, our ATOL license being granted, new suppliers, easier systems, still remaining profitable throughout the hardest event we have ever experienced... I’ve never been more grateful and excited to be a part of this.

This is a pyramid scheme, 90+% of reps didn’t even make their £50 a month membership fee back, meaning they made a loss. The income disclosure statement on their website backs this up. Absolutely shocking practices and I hope they get shut down soon.

We were roped into this by one of their sellers “Travelmum Aneesa”. It was sold as something it wasn’t at all- we were told multiple times in multiple ways that we would get the best price available for any hotel room if we signed up. This wasn’t the case, most of the time the prices are 20%+ more. We asked specifically about commission and we’re told it would all be paid to us, and the only fee to intel’s travel was the £35 a month for your IATA number. We were also offered the answers to the official govt tests which qualify you for an IATA number so we could “do it quicker”…even if that meant we didn’t understand what we were doing. Basically this was MLM at its worst, you don’t get any commission back until after the holidays you’ve booked, your up line gets about 12% of the commission, the company takes some and you get left was >5%. They call this smart travelling but I’ve learned the hard way you’re an idiot if you sign up. There should be a law about these type of people. Living fake life’s, funded on lies and other peoples hard work.
