I joined InteleTravel after a friend who was doing it convinced me to do it. Quote from InteleTravel website: "If you do not earn and/or save more in your first year as an InteleTravel Advisor than it costs you in fees paid to InteleTravel, we will refund you the difference!"... That's not true, please read the terms and conditions, don't make the same mistake I did. Essentially, you must book several non-refundable holidays/hotels (good luck), and order business cards from InteleTravel (among other silly things) to qualify for a refund. Not sure how anyone can make a profit from just booking travel with InteleTravel. There's a second bit that's optional, where you recruit other agents and earn money from their bookings. I assume that's how profit could potentially be made. Weirdly, profit is never mentioned in the good reviews, just a load of fluffy nonsense from what I can see. Please please please don't listen to these people, they have their own self interests at heart. There are loads of other side hustles you can do that actually make you money with many less hours put in. I spent hours watching training videos and joining motivational team calls. I spent hours on organic marketing. I spent hours searching for holidays for family and friends. After being told time and time again that I would always get the best price for my clients with InteleTravel, I could never get the best price for my clients with InteleTravel. Contacting hotels directly (if that's even possible) seemed to be the best option. 6 months after registering a hotel booking with a commissionable rate and a booking number, low and behold, I never got paid my commission. At this point I was down around £500 and I figured I'd quit and apply for a refund. That's when I found out about the "profit gaurantee" T&Cs, and that was pretty devastating. I'm over it, lesson learnt! Hopefully in leaving this review I can stop someone from wasting their time and losing hundreds of pounds.

The back-office systems are dreadful, very clunky and dated. I could only ever get through to anyone on chat or email once the US were open. There are lots of training calls you can attend, all of them in the evening and sometimes supplier's attend to go through their deals/system/properties. The destination training delivered by the so-called top agents is rubbish, it felt like they were just reading what was on the PowerPoint slide and to be honest I could have found out more myself with a quick Google. I have worked in travel for a number of years, I thought I would enjoy working for myself, but the Covid hit. But apart from that, I don't think anyone in charge of the agents has much of an idea what they're doing; the management structure they have for agents is very geared to sales (there are 2 arms to this business; the travel booking arm and the signing agents up arm) and nobody I dealt with had any real travel knowledge. Managers are constantly posting on social media about how you have to make your own success and how they are up and taking team calls at 6am and we should all be doing the same or else we will never succeed. I personally found it to be patronising, aggressive and totally demoralising, also who was she trying to convince?! The lady that "signed me up" was lovely and was helpful, she would always respond to my messages in the WhatsApp group. The rest of the group was a bit of a clique and they only ever seemed to make bookings for themselves, I didn't encounter anyone that had managed to build a decent business. As already mentioned in a review, you are completely love-bombed when you are on your way to joining, but after that you need to be "one of the gang" to feel like you belong. Again, I know Covid hit the industry but it all felt extremely amateur to me. I have since changed jobs and am now much happier and earning a LOT more than I was when I signed up. I don't have the time to be dealing with poor systems and 1-hour-plus phone queues to speak to a Tour Operator to earn less than 10% commission on the majority of products! My advice to the powers that be; get better systems, ensure that team managers have a decent travel industry knowledge and sort out your training offering.

Total scam I can guarentee the prices on inteletravel will never match prices you could find your self online They lured me in with partners like TUI as i book loads of tui holidays, in reality they dont have price parity so your agent price will never beats the tui website price. I quoated someone a holiday for £1551 the client got the exact same holiday through tui for £891 Theres no commision on flights so the booking office adds 25% onto the flight price then gives you your cut of 10% which works out to be 6% Emailing hotels majority of them will ignore emails relating to agent rates or commisionable rates No support when anything goes wrong such as when you book the hotel its not actully booked dispite confirmations The whole MLN is about Recruitng people so they get a commision from your bookings and referal bonuses All the good reviews on here are people at the top of the chain who are profiting of requiring members

I've been a member of InteleTravel UK since September 2019. I joined when I entered my final year of uni, and stuck with it all throughout Covid. I started out using it solely for my own personal travel, and am now turning it into a full business for myself, and am ever-increasing my knowledge of the travel industry and how I can find and book the best travel experiences for my clients. I'll be transparent with my story. For the first 2 years since I joined, I let this business completely pass by me. I didn't hop on the bandwagon of success that InteleTravel has had in the past 2 years, which is the more success that this company has had in the past 30 years since it started. I didn't see the full extent of the vision. It's only within the past few months that I've really said "Ok, let's do this for real". I owed that much to myself. What saddens me the most though, is seeing all these awful reviews. Not once in all my time being in this business have I ever felt that this is a "scam" or any of the other negative words that this has been described as. In fact, I have never ever been prouder to be a part of something so fantastic, so exclusive, and so thoroughly enjoyable when I actually do to the work. Ever since Day 1, I've felt a part of something larger, something so magical, and that's all due to the community that we've all created and immersed ourselves in. On a real note, I wasn't coping very well mentally towards the end of 2021; I had no vision, motivation, and I just felt so lost. Since realising once again what this business can do for me, I started to put in the effort again, and I am a completely different person from the girl I was just a few months ago. I've never been more driven, focused or dedicated, and I have the biggest go-getter attitude that I've ever had, and that's simply just from this community alone. I've met some incredible people from this and have made genuine friendships, as well as being constantly surrounded by like-minded people who are simply all about growth, personal development, celebration and positivity - what more could you ask for when starting a new venture? These negative reviews are purely down to personal experience, as are reviews for anything in life, but one theme I'm witnessing particularly in these, is that these reviews are from people who haven't even given the business a real shot. People are often promised when they join that they're becoming a part of something that can be life-changing for them, and you know what? It absolutely can, without a doubt, but ONLY if you put in the work. How can you expect to see great results if you don't actually try to take this somewhere? With any business in life, you can't start it and then take the back seat and then get upset or angry about not achieving the results that you thought you'd have. If you started your own business and didn't see any results or progress in 3 weeks, would you just give up and start complaining about the industry or companies involved? No, because it's only yourself who is causing you to have no results. There are incredible amounts of resources, training and tools to help you make the absolute most of your travel business, that you have the choice to learn about and really get great at it. Help is available from the company and teams 24/7, so it's hard to feel lost or unsure of what to do, because support is around you at all times. I've seen this happen many times before, that people are so excited to join because they know exactly what they are signing up for and what it can do for them, but then read the reviews and that completely puts them off - it's a real shame. I mean, I get it - I was exactly that person before I joined this; I nearly let the negative reviews become my objection to starting, but something in my gut just felt right about this business. It just made sense for me, and I saw the great things people were doing in this business. So, I trusted my gut instinct, said yes, and joined, and 2.5 years later here I still am. Only really just taking this business by its horns now as I'm at a stage in my life where I now want this to be what I focus on. Never once have I blamed InteleTravel for anything, because I know that my previous "lack of progress" and "success" per say, was purely, and simply, because of myself. Don't let these negative reviews sway you if you feel deep down in your heart that this is something you want to try out. Take the leap of faith, allow yourself to grow. See for yourself what this business can offer you, and then DO. THE. WORK. Other people won't run your business for you, only you will. So don't waste your chance to be a part of something that can be life-changing for you, as it has evidently been for others who have really ran with it and trusted the process. 💛 (also, there's a 30-day money back guarantee if you want to cancel, so what have you got to lose?)

Best decision ever… read to the end I joined back in 2020 as I had the time to learn and really understand becoming an travel agent. The training is amazing and I loved learning about all the amazing suppliers and beautiful places in the world. I wanted to save on my own travel and create incredible memories for me and my family and that is exactly what I have done. We have travelled more in the last 2 years than we ever have and there has been a global pandemic. I have been able to really open my eyes to the world and enjoy life to the fullest. The business has gave me unbelievable opportunities I never thought was possible. It’s not a get rich quick scheme. You really do need to put the work in and understand what you are doing. Pick the correct people around you that are willing to help and support you with the travel side!! I am also a mentor but I don’t see it as a numbers game I see it as showing people what the business is about and how incredible it can be, and what it can do to change your life. I have saved a lot of money on my own travel and as a result been able to travel more. You will get negative people in the world and the business isn’t for everyone but don’t judge a book by it’s cover. The 30 day money back guarantee is there for a reason. Take it for a test drive if it’s not for you then get a full refund no questions ask, if you find out it’s as unbelievable as half the people on here say it is then welcome my friend and look forward to seeing you on the other side xx

I’ve been an Intele agent for over 2.5 years now and love it. The growth over the past two years has been insane. From becoming ABTA members, gaining an ATOL license, more training, to multiple new suppliers coming on board for us to earn commission with! This company is ever changing for the better and I can’t wait to see where things are in another 2.5 years!

To Laura Hutchinson, who recently wrote a review here. I am an Inteletravel agent. I am in a team with 3 very influential agents who have huge Instagram followings and they send us the answers to all the training in our team WhatsApp chat. So you can just copy the answers in. They all do it ! I have found the savings on my own travel to be very good and have no interest in selling travel to others or recruiting. I find everyone to be very nice and friendly too and I enjoy the information and recommendations for hotels and destinations.
