I joined inteletravel and paid my joining fee which I really couldn’t afford , had a FaceTime with an umpliner promising support & lots of financial gain … what an absolute load of rubbish … once they’ve got your joining fee they then move on to recruiting the next batch of people and the cycle begins again . I tried every avenue trying to promote my business only to be met with lots of negative response from customers when they discovered it was inteletravel , PLEASE think twice when signing up as they’re parasites who suck everything out of you and leave you with nothing

It’s a pyramid scheme
It’s a pyramid scheme. Dont join and don’t be fooled by all those who have been lured in that are giving in 5 stars. It’s a scam.

Wish I had joined sooner
I have been a ITA with Inteletravel now for about 14 months and wish I had joined sooner.
I had been loooking at their website for about 6 months before wondering whether or not to take the leap of faith and I am so glad I finally stopped overthinking and jumped.
I have been supported more than I ever imagined. My support line has regular contact with me. We have team chats so we can all talk and discuss different situations or just chat!
We have access to so much training and guidance.
We have social gatherings so can actually meet the people you talk to everyday!
I have personally saved so much money on my own personal travel and booked in many customers successfully on holiday.
I only ever had a query once with a commission and I contacted inteletravel on their live chat and it was all sorted. Turns out it was an input error on my part with the number I entered into BO.
I received full payment into my bank.
I cant recommend this enough if being in the travel industry is something that you are interested in.

I have been waiting on my commission…
I have been waiting on my commission from a July complete date that is a16k booking. The supplier has sent the check and I have submitted countless tickets. Everyone I speak with lies. Terrible host company!

Honest review and myth busting
I’ve been with Inteletravel for 3-4 years now and have loved it from day 1.
As with anything people have a tendency to leave a review when things go wrong, so much more then when things go right (hence it taking me all these years to think of leaving a review here!).
For anyone thinking of joining I hope I can clear up a few misconceptions.
Inteletravel is a home based independent travel agency. When you join you are buying a franchise (like McDonald’s, subway etc). Through your franchise you are licensed to sell under Inteletravels protections which include Abta and atol licenses (let me point out companies have to prove they are legit for these to be given out and some big firms like on the beach do not have Abta!)…
However by using inteletravels legal protections and having access to their partnerships with 94 suppliers such as royal Caribbean, virgin voyages, Olympic holidays, contiki, hoseasons etc etc Inteletravel get a rough 30% cut of the commissions you earn- this is fair- you’ve done no work to accumulate these contracts- Inteletravel has and you are only authorised to work through Inteletravel so therefore like a brokerage- they get a cut!
Now, despite the fact you are working through inteletravel, you are still self employed, running your own business! Why do people expect to make huge profits in weeks or even months with this business is just beyond me! It’s a known fact most new businesses don’t even break even in the first year, please don’t expect this to be a get rich quick scheme, it is not! BUT if you work hard and you are consistent and put yourself out there you will make money!
Someone left a review below saying they quit another 1 month…. 1 MONTH!!! have you ever seen a business open and shut in your local area within a month, please be realistic with your timescales people!
My advice is use the first 6 months to learn, learn and learn. Practice, put yourself out there, but don’t expect loads of people to come running to you on day 1. It takes time for you to build a business, credibility and knowledge!
For the review which mentions Intele wouldn’t let them move their cruise back from Inteletravel to a direct booking with the cruise provider when you quit-well of course they wouldn’t! The booking belongs to Inteletravel that’s who you are licensed through. If this person didn’t required training before going on and making the booking they would have known this- similar to above, people like to run before they can walk and are so desperate to start booking their own travel and earning money back etc they rush and don’t understand the process, then blame someone else when it goes wrong! In 4 years I’ve never had a commission not paid out!
Now for the reviews about ‘pyramid schemes’. Inteletravel is purely a home working travel agency THAT IS IT! An inteletravel travel agent can not sign up anyone else as a new inteletravel agent, it is physically not possible.
There is however another company called plannet. They are a marketing company, they are employed by Inteletravel to market the business to new people who may also wish to become travel agents. Plannets marketing strategy is network marketing. This means plannet reps discuss the business with other people who may be interested in joining, provide them with the facts and have the authority to sign up anyone who wants to go ahead through an affiliate link.
An affiliate link means yes they get a payment for anyone who joins but it also means that unlike a corporate refer a friend scheme where it’s a one time thank you payment and job done, if a plannet rep joins someone up to the Inteletravel business they also become that persons mentor so they have a responsibility for coaching and supporting that person moving forward. This is a good thing, it means reps are actively only recruiting people for the right reasons and it’s in the reps interest to support their new team member so that they do well long term and stay. Let me tell you, no one wants to sign up people who are going to quit! Because real money is not made through sign up bonuses it’s made through headcount number and you only get a good headcount if you are advertising to the right people and coaching and supporting them!
(P.s pyramid schemes are illegal and I’m not writing this from a prison cell! Pyramid schemes are also the process of recruiting with no product, which is the polar opposite of what a travel agency is!)
Do you have to be a plannet rep if you join Inteletravel- no- it’s 2 different businesses with separate fees!
Is quitting made hard work- no it’s a simple email, yes it may take a week or two to process but any fees incurred after your notice will be refunded. But please don’t join if your thinking you might quit within a year, this is not how to run a business!

Do it! You will not regret it 🙌🏼
I have been with Inteletravel for a year now and I absolutely love it! To say I was dubious is an understatement. I just didn't believe it could be such a success. How wrong was I? I have booked so many holidays for friends and family and found the most amazing deals for myself, too! The team support I get is second to none and I love the community I am now proud to be a part of. I am massively in profit compared to the small monthly fee. Never looked back and so happy I joined!

Refuse to pay commission. Told it would take 6 months.
I have been a member for 3 years. The $59 total Intele & Plannet Market combine auto draft. I never used it due to illness. I have kept up with all the hype etc...as far as training and the calls. I decided to book a group cruise 11/2022 and sail date for 07/2023. Everyone paid for their cruise by the 05/01/2023 2 months prior to travel. It has been 90 days since the group returned from their vacation. I submit my documentation for commission 24 hrs after the return to ensure everyone enjoyed the vacations and no complaints. I check the system faithful. They had a scheduled date of 10/28 90 days later to pay commission. On 10/28/2023 it changed to TBD. In the process I submitted a ticket inquiring why it was taking 90 days and not the 60 days for commission to be paid out according to their handbook. They said it the cruise line pay out late. I call the cruise line and spoke with a manager. I was informed the commission had been already paid out. I was instructed to give Inteletravel the represent name and the amount of the commission paid along with the booking number. Please tell me why when I call them again I am told it would take 6 months to be paid for my commission on $30,000 Group Cruise. They have the money and holding it. Now I am in search of another Travel Company to become an agent with because I have clients on hold. And yes, I ask my leaders for help....their response I do not do sales so I can not help you. Call customer service. Those who joined under me, I have ask them to cancel their service and I will be doing the same. It does not take no 6 months to pay out commission. Especially when everything was done on time and correct.

You are just a number in a pyramid scheme!
I was an agent for a few months and left 6 months ago. My upline still has no idea that iv left due to having too many people to manage! I am still awaiting a call to check in with me to see how im progressing and developing!! They promise you the world for their own gain! YOU ARE JUST A NUMBER!
Training is limited and not monitored, and uplines know very vague details with the questions you ask due to lack of experience in the travel industry field as all they are bothered about is becoming an influencer and going higher inthe pyramid scheme. (How many actually book travel for others and not just themselves?!)
Be careful as you can get yourself into a lot of trouble if you don't follow the rules and regs re advertisement etc with ATOL, TTA etc You may not think your posts on social media are being looked at but trust me they are! YOU MUST BE COMPLIANT!
How can you manage hundred of people? The answer is... Its impossible!
Commission takes forever to get paid and there are hidden fees if you keep it in the hyper wallet and when you also come to withdraw it!! Im still owed outstanding commission since ceasing my membership which im still chasing up.
If you want to become an agent there are many more companies that you can approach and work on behalf of even the higher chains ones. You can then set your own commission and not rip people off!! We're in a cost of living crisis so customers want a good deal, unfortunately they will not pay you £300 plus for a more personalised service like Intele want you to promote! Would you?!
If something seems to good to be true then it most probably is. Reach out to other agencies if this is something you are interested in doing.
