I have a lot of complaints about this experience. First, I was not aware that I'd have to install brackets in my window casing. That's a no go. Second, the cream-color silicone was dirty. I had to put a lot of elbow grease into cleaning it, and it's still discolored in one spot. Third, sound in the room is now driving me crazy. The company does say the Indow isn't effective with low frequency sound, but this seems to have also done something with sound that my ear and brain detects and abhors. It's a pulsing, barely audible bass, an infrasound. Fourth, the communication was great, except for two things: I was told to hold onto my laser until they told me to send it back. Then the communication about sending the laser back was buried in a longer automated note, and I got sick of receiving those, so I missed it. But even after I sent it back, I kept receiving messages about it—it was stuck somewhere, but it's just the persistence that I dislike. They were very nice about stopping them and very responsive. I give two stars for that. I definitely regret my purchase and will now have to spend additional money, at least as much as I did on Indow, to replace the Indow with a more permanent glass solution to stop this sound.

My Indow windows inserts did not perform as expected. The constant road noise from traffic is still annoying, and there is not a tight seal, I can see space between the wall and window insert corners, also there is a condensation build up on the bottom. The wait for the took for the insert arrive was about three months, but I did received periotic emails on the order status, and Mr. Reed gave great customer service.

For the cost, the Indow Window did not take care of reducing noise behind our townhome all that much. Some sounds are muted, but I paid 1,000 for two inserts and it didn't as much as I thought it would. The people are the company though are very helpful and nice.

Not near has good as promised. Did help a little with outside noise. A LITTLE! Will not purchase or recommend to anyone due to high cost with small return.

I ordered the acoustic grade undoes to block out noise from street bands outside my downtown Chicago apartment. In short, the indows do not block out a significant amount of the noise. Sadly, the small reduction in noise was not worth the significant cost of the indows.
