About Image Tours

Roelof Postmaa, Sr., an educator in The Netherlands, founded Image Tours in 1939 in Amsterdam. He began taking his students and their parents on trips as a hobby. Recognizing people’s need for guidance in planning their travels, Mr. Postmaa developed a successful business hosting tours throughout Europe. He firmly believed that travel broadens one’s horizon and enriches one’s mind.Mr. Postmaa’s son, Roelof Jr., began assisting his father in the family business while still in high school. Roelof Jr. opened an office in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1960 and began offering the company’s signature HEART OF EUROPE ® tour to groups such as fraternal organizations, employee associations, churches, school choirs, orchestras, and marching bands.In 1986, the company began partnering with travel agencies to offer their escorted Europe tours to the general public, thereby becoming firmly established throughout the United States. Today, Image Tours is led by Monique Kasmauskis, the daughter of Roelof Jr., and her husband, Mike. They, along with all the Image Tours associates, are dedicated to providing Superior Value with a Personal Touch. Thanks to this dedication, Image is often praised by both travelers and travel agents for courteous service, meticulous traveler preparation, and flawless execution of its tours. Our HEART OF EUROPE ® tour has endured since 1960, and has been enjoyed by thousands of first-time travelers to Europe. Great tour
The tour was well planned. We stayed at great hotels and the best part of the tour was a very knowledgeable tour guide. Overall it was a great experience.

Our Heart of British Isles Tour with Image Tours in 2015 was the best experience we've ever had on any European tour. The hotel accommodations, dining experiences, tours, bus accommodations, etc. were top notch. Our Tour Guide, Julian, was the best and most qualified we've ever had also. He kept us fully entertained, informed, and interested during our travelling. His knowledge of all the sights was unbelievable. He is the BEST!!! I would highly recommend Image Tours for any European Tour.

Great tour company
We took the Heart of Europe Circle Tour in the fall of 2015. Our tour guide, Erik, was excellent as were our two bus drivers. The hotels were all very nice, some nicer than others, but overall very good. The meals included were very good, but not excellent. I think the tour was a great value. We couldn't expect better hotels or meals for what we paid for the tour. The tour covered a lot of countries in a short time and we felt we saw most everything we wanted to see. The extra excursions to Venice and the night in Paris were wonderful and not to be missed.

Wonderful experience
We did the WWII tour in Europe. We loved the tour and the guide. We had a great group of people on the tour. The towns we visited and the places we stayed were awesome. Paris was somewhat snobbish but OH WELL. It didn't change our opinion of the trip.

Busy but fun two weeks!
Our tour of Europe...7 countries in 14 days, was busy but great fun. We had a wonderful group of fellow travelers. Our tour guide Erik and driver Leo kept things lively too. Our accommodations were top notch, food and entertainment were as well. We saw highlights as well as some off the beaten path locals. My trip was over a year ago but I still look back on my photos and recall the fun. I would definitely travel with Image Tours again!
