Image Tours hotels.
Image Tours hotels are in areas that are 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours away from any sightseeing. They are located in less expensive, industrial, far from sightseeing areas. The hotel locations force you to purchase optional tours. If you don't you're stuck in the hotel. The optional tours were not with a separate professional tour company. They were with the same bus driver and tour guide as the rest of the trip. So, Image Tours is actually making you pay more if you wanted to see the sights, you went there for. We spent 3 hours one day going to and from a restaurant from our hotel. We were given very little time in each destination to sightsee. Typically we had up to 1 1/2 to 2 hours to eat and do shopping before we're back on the bus. Sometimes we didn't have time to eat, if we wanted to sightsee or shop. I would say 70% of our time was on the bus aside from sleeping . Speaking of sleep, we would have had more time to sleep if the hotels were not so far from the sightseeing. Due to the hotels being so far, we went to bed later and had to get up earlier. Certainly not relaxing. This would have been completely avoidable, if the hotels were located in the areas of interests. We covered a lot of territory, but only had 45 minutes here and and hour and a half there. They could improve with hotels located in the areas of prime sightseeing . The inconvenience of hotels is tiring for the customer, bus driver and tour guide.
