I luckily stumbled across HY Guru on YouTube around 4-5 months before my step 1 test while I was searching for random system-wise revision videos and since then, it became a huge part of my preparation and I ended up watching ALL the videos that were uploaded. Not only does Dr Rahul integrate and link all the information and high yield stuff incredibly well, but his mnemonics, teaching format, constant mentorship and encouragement and most importantly his energy and overall method of teaching really boosted my confidence and made me feel much better about my preparation for the exam. When I found out that I had passed step 1, Dr Rahul was one of the first people I contacted because I was so grateful for his efforts and was thus excited to tell him. Apart from the usual UFAP and BnB resources, I highly recommend this to everyone out there who is studying for step 1- trust me, you won't regret it! I will be starting my preparation for Step 2 soon and I'm genuinely looking forward to be taught by him again, that's how fun and easy he makes it! I'm so grateful for this resource and I hope more people get to know about it too. Keep it up Dr Rahul Damania, you're amazing!

Passed Step 1 because of HYGuru! Rahul truly changed the way that I think about medicine and I am permanently a better student for it. His extremely affordable P/F course paired with private tutoring taught me how to UNDERSTAND material rather than memorize it. He helped me with topic learning, study scheduling, organization, and was also a motivational coach. School was challenging for me because there was less emphasis on board examination and more on dense lectures. I had to adjust the way that I learned- less memorizing, more understanding. With HY guru, things made sense because HE CONNECTS EVERYTHING TOGETHER and targets high yield topics. For example, immunology is a tough topic and heavily tested on STEP 1 through derm, oncology, endocrinology, and more. When going over immuno, he takes the time to revisit and explain things like pemphigus vulgaris, small cell lung cancer causing lambert eaton syndrome, and graves disease (all related to antibody binding). In a similar way his P/F course goes over every system from first-aid and connects topics together. His approach is so unique, sticks in my mind, and so easy to learn. I cannot emphasize how much time and energy this saved for me. I am always recommending his P/F course to all of my friends MS1s, MS2s , and even 3s.

I have worked with Hyguru for STEP1, SHELF, and STEP2 all with amazing results. Rahul goes beyond just being a tutor as he will check in with you throughout the process. His resources are top-notch. In addition to increasing your knowledge base to fill in gaps, he has spent years breaking down NBME test-making strategy to help us understand how the exams are written. I highly recommend his help to anyone at any point in their medical career.

Huguru is the ease of use this software is good for me and another great features

This resource is a MUST! Dr. Damania's enthusiasm in explaining each concept is contagious. Not only is everything concise and in a way that it is easy to recall, he says little mnemonics that will stick. 10/10... Love this man! He is making STEP 1 studying doable and actually fun!

Learned best initial steps to USMLE questions

First and foremost, a big big big thank you to Dr. Damania. His charisma and smile keep you motivated throughout his videos. For me personally, I benefited the most from his UWorld Q review videos and his Notion workspace! Notion has become a one stop shop for me as I have all my test dates, my UWorld Reviews, Kaplan, Amboss, etc all in one space. I added all the pathoma videos with times so that I also can schedule those! I also went ahead and added a picture attachment so I never really have to go back to any other resource! It is all incorporated into one space, which makes life SO MUCH EASIER! In addition, Dr Damania genuinely cares. He responds back via email to any problems, concerns, and questions very quickly!

I am currently prepping for STEP-1 and Dr. Damania and his HYGURU prep have been essential to my success in the second year of medical school. Many concepts that he has taught me and spoke about in his videos have helped me to raise my grades and many of the concepts he goes over, are questions that are asked on my medical school exams or concepts that I get asked about while doing the U-world bank. I highly recommend his resources from first hand experience.
