I can confidently say the only reason I passed step 1 is because of this course. I was studying blind before this and knew I had a weak foundation. My first CBSE was 40%. After the HyGuru course, I passed my first NBME and did better and better on the following ones. This course is worth the time and money 100x over. Dr. Rahul is an amazing teacher and motivator and you can really tell he loves what he does. I'll be forever grateful for him.

this is what i was missing the first time I took step. i got my report back in july that I failed, studied for a month, and got the pass. the thing about this course is that he puts it all together. everyone else gives you puzzle pieces, but this course gave me the strategy to put the puzzle pieces together. when I went in for my exam, everything was clear. i remembered the strategy on how to read the question. even if I didn't know the answer, I knew what it wasn't because I was taught how to read the question stem. I was put on by a friend, and I'm glad I spoke with her about this course. it was what I needed. if I could go back, I would have started this course after spring break, since my school lets out in the summer. that way during dedicated, I could've truly just focused on weaknesses instead of trying to review everything. thank you so much for your dedication to helping students like me who just need it put together!

I started watching Dr. Damania's videos 2 weeks before my Step 1 exam. The way he integrates concepts and subjects all while focusing on the high yield topics, is just what I needed to get the bigger perspective. I watched all his lectures on all topics and I can confidently say that his videos gave me the push I needed to give my exam, even though my NBME practice scores were not as high as I would like them. I will definitely be using his resources early on for Step 2!

Before using HyGuru my practice step 1 scores were in the 230s. After using HyGuru's resources and attending his seminars, I was able to score a 253 on Step 1! Excellent educator and tutor! I had been struggling to prepare for step 2 for 3 years. After barely passing step 1, I started preparing for step 2 early. I attended a 4 week prep program in Florida, utilized online med ed, U world qbank, and the first aid book for step 2. While they all helped some I still was not making passing scores on my practice exams. I also struggled with my shelf exams during rotations so I knew I needed extra help. Eventually, I was connected with HyGuru and things changed. I started thinking like the test maker, studying more efficiently, and had an accountability partner. I met with Dr. Damania about once a week after viewing his online test taking strategies and productivity system course. With each session we focused on how to approach the question in a stem, paraphrase, and predict manner generating a differential diagnosis early and ruling out or in diagnosis based on the pertinent positives and negatives. He changed my approach to test taking and optimized my study planning and task scheduling using the Notion platform. Notion made it easy to track and integrate all my study materials while laying out each study day. We also focused on how to review questions and practice tests, optimizing my review time. Dr. Damania recommended the Amboss qbank which turned out to be a great resource for me. If you are struggling to prepare for Step 2 or just want to go to the next level in test taking I highly recommend Dr. Damania and Hyguru. I am very satisfied with my results as I have just passed my step 2.
