3 tellers drinking coffee, no other customers in bank, wanting to open new business account, told to make appointment and come back…a very substantial deposit was missed and new account…stay away from this level of incompetence

THEY CLOSED MY ACCOUNT BECAUSE SOMEONE ELSE BOUNCED A CHECK ME THAT HAD COVERED it wasn't funded, I got no money, I had cash from the customer and to.the bank within 6Hours, they wouldn't take my cash, my account was closed andnim.day one of a 14 day being out of town, my cc Mt debit card and my whole f ing acct. I did nothing OVER 10 YEAR CUSTOMER. No appeal no name to call. The corporate girl call back w no sympathy at all I HAD MONEY IN MY SAVINGS!!! F YOU HUNTINGTON...NO CC , NO DEBIT ACCT CLOSED AND AS OF 8 DAYS OUT NO NOTIFICATION, ONLY MY CALLING THEM. They should be the government

Stay away from this bank if you want to be able to access your money. They love to lock accounts for no reason and hold your money. If you do not want a headache all the time bank somewhere else.

This bank has the worst customer service. Absolutely stay away from getting a home loan through this bank. Been trying to get a PMI payment removed from our loan since July 2022 its now Feb, 2023. You can never get through to customer service

Huntington bank place a payment in a closed account, sending my payment back to my bank account, unaware, I missed my car payment, now Huntington charges me 35 dollars every month on late fees.

They operate just like TCF Bank which they purchased, TCF Bank. During their merger they said their values aligned with TCF. TCF was a rip off so they must be the same. I worked there for 5 depressing years and their favorite customers is one who knows little about finance. Like deposit and lending rates. We paid customers zero for their deposits, okay 0.01% APY do a $10k CD based on their rate sheet would pay you $1.00. The rates charged for borrowing was 2-3% more than area banks. I could no longer work their in good conscious. Be sure to shop around before locking your money in a CD or getting a mortgage. TCF's FB page had less than 2 stars and Huntington is very close so yeah their values to align and they do not acknowledge these complaints because they really do not care how you feel. I recommend Mysavingsdirect and add the dot com. You will receive right now 4.35% APY and their mortgage rates are very competitive. They want larger down payments based on their rate sheets but I am sure there are other options available.

Standby cash is a joke! I direct deposit the same amount every 2 weeks. It’s over $1000 each time. I pay 2 bills with this account. I used standby cash in an attempt to use it to build credit since it spread out the amt in 3 equal payments that come out automatically. It was offering $1000 for months. I decided to take $200 so my usage would be under 30% 7 days later they lowered the limit to $500 making my usage 40% my first payment of 66.68 came out and 2 days later they lowered it again but this time to $150 making my utilization 88%! The next payment came due so I just paid it off and wouldn’t u know they lowered it a 3rd time to $100. They report all this to your credit & we all know limit decreases & utilization damage your credit. I did not borrow close to my limit, I did not miss a payment yet this account makes me appear irresponsible by lowering my score 13 points! This last limit decrease hasn’t been reported yet but it will lower it again. Then they have the nerve to send me an email about being responsible with credit utilization! I didn’t cause that! YOU DID yet I am now harmed for it. STAY AWAY. They can lower that limit for lower daily balance, different deposit amounts and overdrafts even when they are in the grace period. They claim my daily balance changed. Says who? They reserve the right to decrease the limit AND WILL! Learn from my mistake. Use a credit card to build credit. Not this

Standby Cash I think the Attorney Generals office should look into this. Huntington claims they add this to people‘s account who are in good standing. I’ve never had an issue with my account. They put standby cash in my account and they keep upping and lowering the amount yet , nothing has been wrong with my account, you get multiple emails telling you all different things that don’t qualify for anything on my account for the reason. They are affecting peoples credit scores. Shame on Huntington.
