Hubstaff Experience

I dislike not being able to enter hours into the timesheet ahead of time e.g., public holidays, annual leave. Hubstaff is not intuitive and slow to load. Whenever I change pages, it takes at least 10-15 seconds to download. Given I go between pages a lot, 10-15 seconds per pages really adds up. It means I have to have Hubstaff open in several tabs and then go between the tabs. The support team are great and respond quickly to our concerns and requests. Their advice is usually helpful and mostly results in issues being quickly resolved. Reports are fairly easy to extract although I don't understand why the excel format is offered in csv and not xlsx. Whilst I can save changes, the formatting doesn't save and we send the reports to clients.

Hello Heather, thank you for leaving us this review of Hubstaff. Specifically for time being added to timesheets, it can only be done for time that has already passed. If your goal is to add time off, or schedule holidays, you can do so via the usage of time off and holiday policies. For a guide about how to carry this out, you can refer to this guide - https://support.hubstaff.com/paid-time-off-holidays-and-time-off-requests/ Our team has been making a lot of improvements as of late, in order to improve the loading speed of the pages of the platform. This should have resulted in your experience improving in terms of the usability of the platform. By all means, if it carries on giving you problems, please do contact our support team and that can be investigated further. For the reports, they are exported as CSVs that can be uploaded on Excel using the following steps: 1. Open a blank Excel workbook. 2. In the Data tab, click Get Data > From File > From Text/CSV. 3. Select the file to open and click Import. 4. On the new window that will appear, click on Load. 5. Once the report is displayed correctly, you can save it as an Excel Workbook.
