Hubstaff has been an indispensable tool for me. I started using it as a solo user to track my own time, and now as a manager of a team of 10, it has proven to be a seamless solution. I rely on it to prepare monthly reports for some customers, and for others, bi-monthly reports. When I need to calculate different rates for my team members, I export the data as a CSV file, which is easy to work with. Additionally, I can track time within my customers' organizations. One of the features I appreciate the most is the ability to add customers as viewers of the project, which allows them to see our programmers' activities themselves. This not only saves time, but it also increases transparency and builds trust with our clients.

We've been using HubStaff for 2 years now and it's been great.

Not a very good system and doesn't do a lot of basic features that someone would need in this software.

The app performs really well. Disappointing is the continual pop up screenshot. Understandable it has to do it's job but it is frankly a distraction along with all the other popups. Maybe they could get it to take the screenshots in the background.

Not yet supporting Wayland display server. As a Linux OS user and this Wayland is more secure and performant than X.org server. It would be nice if you provide support for Wayland. Also sometimes the HS application freezes and the timer is not records the worked time. Today HS freezed for 2 hours and 43 minutes. I requested my agency to add that worked time manually. Initially given 3 stars but now reducing the rating to 2 stars because of freeze and not tracked the worked hours. --- 14-Feb-2023: Update after logged in Wayland server for 1day, Hubstaff desktop app behaves very abnormal it still not take the screenshot. I'm using 1.6.12-da9418f3. Reached to the support team and they said tech team will follow up in the email. --- 14-Feb-2023: Hubstaff really confusing me through double communication. Here they say they start supporting Wayland but tech support emailed me to switch to X11 display server because Hubstaff not yet supporting Wayland. In conversation always Hubstaff support said because Wayland not supporting screen capturing feature but I already said twice to them that Wayland supports screen capture using pipewire and many well known application providing their support to Wayland for e.g. OBS studio, Zoom and Ksnip --- 14-Feb-2023: Finally it is not about whether you are supporting Wayland or not it is about don't confuse the application users by saying mixed information in different channels --- 14-Feb-2023: I'm using Wayland in Gnome. ps -e | grep tty 2854 tty2 00:00:00 gdm-wayland-ses 2858 tty2 00:00:00 gnome-session-b

If it can send time tracked data to corresponding ClickUp task, like how completing status is done, it would have been perfect.
