Hsl ChairsReviews of hsl.chairs.com

We visited HSL in Batley this morning to purchase a riser recliner chair for my husband as I already had one. It was pouring down but our specialist Debs was out to meet us in the car park with an umbrella! As I am in a wheelchair she was extremely helpful. She found the chair we wanted to match the one we already have and made sure it suited my husband. I cannot praise the service we received enough and would recommend them to anyone and cannot wait for delivery.

UPDATE One year after my first review! when I reported problems with my chair. After numerous phone calls! different people every time you call! who will always pass your problem to someone else! four visits from a technician! after several deliveries of spare parts that come from Norway!!! I am now left with a chair that knocks every time I move….. and silence from HSL! Just hope that you don’t get a rogue chair. DJ

I had tried so many shops looking for a recliner chair and my experience was very disappointing as the staff in these shops wouldn’t leave you alone to make up your own mind and tried every trick in the book to buy their product. I was also very disappointed with the quality of of the chairs. When I visited the HSL shop in Glasgow just by chance, I was very impressed by the staff who let you do your own thing in the shop without being overwhelmed with pressure of a sale, they answered all the questions I asked about quantity as the chair was expensive and was shown why. The quality of the materials used and the electrics explained. I ordered a chair and had it recovered with a material of our choice and when it arrived it was spectacular. The delivery of the chairs I ordered was exactly as I was advised. A week before I received the chairs I got a phone call to tell me when it would be delivered and on the day I got a call to give me an exact time. Colin and Jack arrived and was in and out in ten minutes leaving me with two beautiful chairs after explaining what to do to get the best out of the recliner and the other chair. The experience we received was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Thank you.

Alex & Asad called before delivery & arrived promptly, within the time slot. Very polite & helpful, taking time to explain how the chair could be adjusted & ensuring it was in the correct place. Seamless & appropriately stressless, thank you!

Received our chairs which we are thrilled with. The two delivery drivers, James & Pete, went over and above with their customer care. The whole process from ordering to delivery was very professional and never pressured. Would definitely recommend HSL.

Ali was a very patient, informative and kind salesman. He left us time to look around whilst being on hand if needed. Explained the functionalities of the chairs and finally the breakdown of the bill clearly. And we enjoyed our tea and biscuits and will recommend HSL Hendon shop to everyone.

We were apprehensive about using HSL as we consider them to be expensive. We had been to numerous furniture stores this day and had found sofas and chairs that we liked but not anything we both agreed on. We entered the shop in Formby, Merseyside and were met by Karen who immediately put us at ease and allowed us to wander around the store without interuption. After trying out some of the display models, we asked for help from Karen. She was very attentive and helpful. She gave us ideas and suggestions of how to achieve our goal. We were so surprised and grateful to learn we could actually "mix and match" the furniture to achieve the desired style and comfort for the two of us. After whittling our choices down to two styles, we were then allowed to sit and discuss what we wanted to choose quietly in a corner without distraction and plied with tea and biscuits. We made our choices and then it came to discussing prices. This is were Sue joined Karen and a result price was reached which was agreeable to both parties. I would recommend visiting HSL to pick your furniture, especially if both of you have different needs regarding your comfort.

Polite, efficient and no fuss.
