My experience: Not Easy, Not Convenient.
I have had prior Accutane treatment to great benefit. So I tried this on-line service rather that drive 50 miles to my dermatologist. I believed the "Easy, Convenient" promises in the Honeydew marketing materials. Unfortunately, my actual experience was not convenient. The lab results were misplaced, and the care coordinators simply assigned it to me to resolve this. The app twice requested I complete the iPledge requirement which I gladly did. Then the care coordinator assigned it to me to resolve the problem with the prescribing physician that resulted. Not easy, Not convenient. I am attempting to cancel, which the organization is resisting, and will likely refuse to do so. I will simply return to the excellent service I received at my prior dermatologist, although they are 50 miles away.

Hi Michael, thank you for sharing your experience. We’re truly sorry to hear that your time with us felt frustrating and not as convenient as you expected. Isotretinoin (Accutane) treatment does require specific safety steps, including lab monitoring and iPledge requirements. While these are standard parts of the process, we understand how repeated requests or lab coordination issues can feel burdensome. Our team is always happy to help contact labs directly, and we regret if it felt like the responsibility was placed entirely on you. We also want to clarify that patients are always free to cancel at any time. If there’s been any confusion around that, we’re happy to ensure it’s handled promptly. Telehealth isn’t the right fit for everyone, and we respect your decision to return to your local dermatologist. That said, many of our patients do find virtual care meaningfully more convenient, and we’re continuously working to make the experience as smooth as possible. We appreciate you giving Honeydew a try and wish you the very best in your continued skincare journey. Best, Connor @ Honeydew
