Worst experience ever dealing with this company.. I purchased a new Liberty Homestead wooden file cabinet. It was delivered by an outside firm (the box was in perfect condition, including the inside packaging; I even have pictures of it). When we opened it, the cabinet top didn't seem to be connected on one side. We opened the top drawer to see if we could see the issues to find the right side horizontal support in the inside was cracked in multiple places all the way through. Their also was a gouge to the front of the cabinet support. We contacted the merchant by email and immediately sent pictures of all angles if damages. This item was sent from Korea and the merchant never inspected it before it was shipped to us. The merchant's solution offered was to send a furniture repair person out because they said it was minor.. Or I could have 125 dollars off the $712 I paid ( the shipping was $125) my immediate response was I wasn't paying for damaged furniture and the one item wasn't repairable and they needed to come get it and either replace it or credit me and take the item back . Never heard from them again and the credit card company and I are still in dispute with them 3 months later.. Stay away...

HOME CINEMA CENTERS: An online-only home store with operations based out of Chesterfield, VA. Called the 1-877-327-0056 phone today twice: first to get the weight of a large product and the second call to cancel right after placing the order. I spoke with some male who was very curt and dismissing in both calls and nasty when I called to cancel. Not knowing anything about this Company and first time ordering anything from them, read their Help/FAQ, which clearly represents the following: "CANCELLING ORDERS THAT HAVE NOT SHIPPED: HomeCinemaCenter.com does offer a cancellation policy on all of its products.... [with detailed instructions to send an email]. " " Order status will be indicated." "If shipped, your tracking link and information will be posted here. It takes 3 business days for link to become active. Do not call carrier before this time as they will have no information to provide." "If processing, please remember it takes a minimum of 3 business days to process most order." As mentioned, when I called the second time to cancel he was nasty asking "Why are you cancelling right after you placed the order?" I was candid and honest indicating their Company is pricing gauging customers with an up charge $300-700 dollars compared to several other online vendors who also have business relationships with AFD Home the supplier of the same product for $300-$700 less including free shipping and they charged $129. He refused to cancel the order, right after it was placed which makes no sense when I am obviously speaking to service who can do that being I called their 877 service phone number. Again just the curt response: send an email if you want to cancel. There was absolutely no reason for the curt/nasty demeanor received on either call but especially upsetting on the second call to cancel when this Company's online HELP/FAQ represents both cancellation and 3 days to process order policies and I was well within those requirements and they could easily process the cancellation electronically with AFD Home, with no adverse impact, especially being the don't even carry the merchandise. We'll see what happen after placing the cancellation request right after placing the order. But very apprehensive based on the rude/nasty demeanor of their Service Depart Staff on the first call just asking about products specs (e.g. weight) which was unnecessarily nasty when I was within my rights to cancel the order. Terrible- Worst customer service waited over 3 months then I went to my account to see order was not even listed. Finally after being hung up on and even able to explain and ask what happen. Once I got a very rude male on the line to tell me it had been cancelled. Will never ever order from them again or recommend them. Aacuff

I placed an online order and received an email receipt with a customer ID number and an order number. After 4 or 5 days I called to get a status because I never saw another email regarding anything about delivery. A man answered and rudely said we're closed. Why bother answering the phone then? Then he said you need to call Monday. I called on Monday and I think the same person answered the phone and said you have to email us. So I then proceeded to email about a status on the order. After three emails and four more days, I went to my bank and had to cancel my debit card and my bank said that they never charged the card.. I didn't know if the company was legitimate and I could not get any type of answer and I even told them in an email that I really like the furniture. My bank was concerned that since they had the debit card number and were not responsive, that it might be used for unauthorized purchases. Of course, this means I have to change my debit card on about 10 other places such as Amazon etc. After I canceled the card I got a one-word response that said canceled. I do not know how this company has gotten five star ratings. I've honestly never seen anything like it. I would never buy from them and I would never suggest anyone else does either.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HOME CINEMA CENTER. I waited over 8 weeks for an order and simply asked for an update on the expected delivery timeframe. That’s it. After sending an email that went unanswered for 5 days, I called customer service hoping to get basic information about my order status. Instead, I was interrupted repeatedly, spoken to rudely, told I could “only email” and would “have to be patient,” and then hung up on. I then posted an honest Better Business Bureau review describing my experience. Rather than apologizing or addressing the concerns, the company publicly responded by saying my order was cancelled and that I had been placed on a “ban list” from purchasing from their store. That response alone should tell prospective customers everything they need to know about how this company handles reasonable customer concerns. Delays happen. Most customers understand that. But ignoring customers for weeks, treating them disrespectfully for asking simple questions, and retaliating against honest feedback is completely unacceptable. Buy elsewhere.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!! One star because zero not an option. Ordered a desk from them, easy as it should be. Setup delivery with their vendor, Merropolitan Delivery, again, no issues. Confirmed delivery 10 days in advance for 5/7, had a follow up call 3 days prior to delivery, confirming the arrangements. Still all good. Got a call.the day of delivery confirming the arrangements. Took the afternoon off, no show. Finally called after 5pm to tell me it was not coming. On 5/8, I had to call the delivery company and was told that it was not being delivered that day either and they could not provide a date. Delivery fee was $159.99. Called Home Cinema Center to complain about their delivery company. Person who answered was incredibly rude after I explained my frustration and told me it was my problem. Order could not be canceled, according to him. Unbelievably poor service from a customer facing vendor. I have disputed the charge and will never do business with this company again. Saw other customers complain of the rude service, it is true and I should have paid attention. STAY AWAY!!!!!

I wish I had read the reviews before placing an order with this company. My order showed as “processing” for two weeks, and then suddenly disappeared from my order history entirely. There has been no update, no explanation, and no response to the two emails I’ve sent to customer support. I’ve called multiple times, and each time I’ve reached the same representative who has been consistently rude and dismissive. He refuses to provide any information over the phone, interrupts while I’m speaking, and insists that I email support..despite the fact that they don’t respond. During my last call, he told me to “be patient” because “everything takes time,” then hung up before I could even ask to speak with a manager. This is extremely unprofessional and frustrating. Based on my experience, I would not recommend ordering from this company.

Do not order anything from this seller!!! They are scammers. Never respond to messages. Long waiting time. No order updates. Avoid this website!!!
