How is this legal? Paid, but no product.
Nov 30. 2020 Update: Looks like helper sent out a generic message to every bad review on trust pilot. Do they not realize we can see all their replies to other reviewers?? Would have thought the response was pretty good had I not seen all the EXACT SAME ONES. Now I am certain that this is a HORRIBLE COMPANY. Absolutely don’t do business here. I ended up getting my purchase after months of waiting. It was cheap glass and shattered after I tapped a drinking glass into it. The freebies They included are fine. Typical $1 crap you’d find by the register at your local head shop. (Bags, wipes, ashtray) Everything is branded with Hemper, which kinda cheapens it IMO. Especially since they’re now known as a brand with bad quality, $h*t customer service, and overpriced junk. Do yourself a favor and stick to the big players-better yet, support small businesses and shop on Etsy to get handmade goods and talk to real people. Might cost a little bit more, but I’d spend the extra $ to not have to email and chat with a company for weeks... Update: I have reported my experience to the FTC I suggest everyone do the same so they open a case against hemper and get our $ back. ftccomplaintassistant.gov I really wish I could give them a better rating as the website looks good, but I've been DUPED. Ordered mid-April, didn't hear anything for a few days and I thought..ok, well it's 420 soon so I'm sure they're busy. a week goes by, still nothing. I hit them up on chat, no response, email a day later, nothing. Waited SO LONG. Finally, May rolls around and their website has a popup that now says things are delayed because of Covid. How is this legal?? If I walked into a headshop, picked something out, PAID FOR IT, and then they just held onto it I would call the cops. How hard would it be to just send an email blast to everyone that ordered and say "hey, sorry we're so backed up-we care about your order, you can expect it within x days or request a refund here"
