Hear.com was eager and helpful until I decided the hearing aids did not work for me. The provider became angry when I returned them. I am still (over two months later) trying to get the provider to fill out my claim form so I may file a claim for my hearing test with insurance. Also, I was less than two weeks out from the end of my 45 trial period and hear.com had not filed with insurance. My advise? Don"t use hear.com or their providers. Get a recommendation from someone you know.

The doctor was fantastic however the sales person promised me that my insurance would cover some if not all the costs. I agreed to charge the hearing aids and then ge reimbursed by hearing .com upon insurance making payment. My claim was never submitted and no one has contacted me to explain why despite phone and e-mail messages. It was a scam to get me to order the hearing aids. Now I'm struggling to make my payments. GO ESLEWHERE FOR YOUR HEARING CONCERNS

I continue to ask people to repeat what they've said, just as before. Fitter claimed to have told me before purchase that I'd need the next level up system and that screening out background noise was the cause of my issue now, which this lower level aid does not provide. He DID NOT tell me that before ... he did not say I would hardly benefit at all. Why sell something that does not meet my needs? What I get is a bit of clarity on some confusing sounds, when he speaks them, but what I seem to need more than that is more volume in normal conversation. I have wasted thousands of dollars and cannot recommend this fitter.

I MADE THE PURCHASE. HAD THE AIDS INSTALLED. WORKED FINE FOR AWILE. ONE EAR PIECE WAS TO SHORT. THEY SAID THEY WOULD GET ME A LONGER ONE. NEVER HAPPEN. RIGHT AID FAILED WITHIN 4 WEEKS. TRIED TO REPORT IT BUT NO ONE ANSWERED THE EMAIL. NOW THE LEFT AID HAS FAILED. I'M USING MY OLD ONES. THINKING ABOUT A LAW SUIT. WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO THE LADY THAT I RECEIVED THEM FROM. SHE IS A WASTE OF TIME. ALL TALK AND NO ACTION. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS MESS. THANKS BIL

I say if you can hear at all do not spend five grand. My shooting muffs with amplification work much better. 50 bucks. Just do not look good unless on the range. I can hear everything with them on.
