Hi Kelly. Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We do advertise our 45-day trial as no-risk meaning you are able to return your hearing aids for full refund within those days. We have done many studies that have shown that 45 days is the right amount of time for our customers brains to adjust to life with hearing aids. I do understand that you have had difficulty with your devices and have had to send them back for repair multiple times. They were sent out on 5/28/21 and 8/13/21 where the issues were fixed each time. Then they were recently sent back on 10/29/21 where a rapid exchange took place. This means you received a new set of devices. After the last pair were sent back to the manufacturer, a diagnostic test was run. It was found that there was excessive wax and moisture build-up in the devices. With hearing aids, general maintenance is needed to keep them in good working condition. Hearing aids are microcomputers and when they are in environments with moisture it can potentially cause issues. Also with ear wax build-up, this can also cause them to stop working. Changing domes and wax filters on a semi-regular basis is a simple solution to prevent this from happening. I do apologize for the negative experience you have had but please know we have been doing everything in our power to help you and your devices to perfect working condition. We understand that hearing aids are not only a lifestyle adjustment but also an investment and we want you to be happy with your purchase. Hi, Dena. Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns. I am very sorry to learn that you have been having difficulties with your hearing aids. I would first like to clarify that the hearing aids you are wearing are called Horizons. The reason you are unable to find it on Signia's model list is because this is our own hearing aid. It is manufactured by Signia, but we are the only ones that can sell it. Also, Horizon's have their own app so you do not need to use Signia's app to pair your devices. This is most likely why your hearing aids do not stay connected. I called and left you a voicemail because I would love to schedule you a video care call with one of our in-house Audiologists. In this appointment, they will be able to walk and talk you through pairing your hearing aid devices properly. This way you can have the appointment from the comfort of your home and not have to drive back to your provider's office. We are careful in choosing these words for this exact reason. We do ask for money up-front but if you return your hearing aids then you are fully refunded. We didn't mention the hearing test fee, however, this isn't standard practice. We are required to mention the hearing test fee if our provider has one.
