I have not-so-great insurance, and as it turns out, it was a lot cheaper to get the bloodwork I needed done through HealthLabs.com than my family doctor. And SO MUCH FASTER. Last time I had bloodwork done with my family doctor, it took a full two weeks before I had the results. if you want lab work for your own peace of mind, I would suggest going through HealthLabs.com. I wanted some test done that my GP probably wouldn't order. I will be getting more tests done later on this year.

I had a very positive experience overall. I ran into a problem with the facility listed where I had my blood and urine taken. They are actually no longer going to participate so they should not have been listed as an option. Also they submitted urine in the wrong container and urinalysis could not be completed. I could go to a different facility to have the test completed, but that would be a 1 hour drive for me. The good news is HealthLabs is going to refund cost of that test. I received my test results within 24 hrs.
